I called to get a quote and was repeatedly told that only the homeowner could schedule the appointment. I explained several times that I’m authorized to handle these matters on his behalf because he’s a very busy business owner, and I offered multiple reasonable solutions.

I asked whether the homeowner could call to authorize the appointment, join the call briefly, or even speak with them once the technician arrived. I also asked whether a power of attorney would work. At first, I was told some of these options might be acceptable, including the possibility of a power of attorney, but later the receptionist completely changed his position and said none of those options would work.

To make matters worse, I overheard one of the employees mocking me in a high-pitched, rude tone while I was still on the call.

I fully understand companies having policies in place, but the communication was inconsistent, unprofessional, and unnecessarily difficult. I was simply trying to schedule a paid quote appointment and offered several reasonable ways to verify authorization, yet kept getting contradictory answers.

I got a quote today by Dave Westfall. He was extremely respectful and knowledgeable about the product and was not interested in giving a sales pitch while making his measurements and getting me the quote. It was the first quote I had gotten on this project that didn't feel disingenuous. I cannot stress enough how nice the experience was compared to what I've had to deal with. I highly recommend that if you get a quote to request Dave as he made the process much more bearable than other individuals that have dealt with through different companies.

BUYER BEWARE! Hard sell by the salesman and after agreeing to the overpriced door because "it will be of superior quality", we're sorely disappointed. Wood on threshold was chipped but the installers used it anyway; joints have huge spaces, and the screw marks at the top are an eyesore (and NOT what the brochure showed). DO NOT SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY, the quality is poor, and you will pay double what a builder/handyman could do it for.
