OGD came out in the last quarter of 2025 at my request to maintenance one of my doors. Technician gave me the quote, i said yes, he serviced the door and i paid. The door they serviced in the last quarter had a pulley break on 1/11/26. I called and they came out today only to charge me for the faulty pulley that broke. Im at a loss for words right now!!!! I guess I should be grateful that they came out so ?? fast
I was initially understanding when Overhead Garage Door (OGD) installed the wrong garage door with the wrong windows and explained that the manufacturer messed that part up. However, the door has shaken violently since the day it was installed and was never properly checked after installation. It won’t close correctly, reopens on its own, and I’m forced to close it manually, putting stress on my new motor. It will take 12 weeks from payment for the correct door to be installed, and at this point I haven’t been able to speak with anyone in charge—only being told the issue would be “passed along.” The entire experience has been extremely frustrating. Not to mention, The day they were supposed to come out to my house They messaged me the night before saying they would have to reschedule for the following day. I told him it would have to be at noon so I could get someone there because unfortunately my wife and I took off work the day of the original appointment and since they rescheduled the night before I didn’t have time for someone to cover me at work AGAIN. I get a message the morning of saying they will be there at 9 AM even though we agreed on noon so I had to leave work again and rush home to accommodate them. The Installer was gone by the time I got home. At that time, I already missed 14 hours of work and still didn’t have a garage door smh. They finally show up the following Monday, Everything is finished by the time I get home just to find it not only did they install the wrong door with the wrong windows, but it won’t even close all the way.
