We’re thrilled with our new garage door from Paradise Garage Door! They helped us pick a door that feels fresh and fits our country cottage-style home perfectly. My husband, who usually insists on doing everything himself and never thinks hired work turns out right, was genuinely impressed with the quality of the install. Even on a tight budget, the quality and look blew us away.Communication was easy, the team was reliable, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend Paradise Garage if you want a beautiful, well-installed garage door!
Our garage door stopped working one day and I noticed a spring had broken, so I called Paradise Garage Door's based on some recommendations. Dustin answered the phone and was able to schedule and complete the replacement install that same day at a fair price. He was experienced and friendly, answering my many questions about garage maintenance by outlining some simple DIY solutions and recommending products from Amazon.I also asked about our other garage door that would sometimes get stuck, so he took a look and explained that my motor needed a power increase due to its age. He showed me the knob where I could adjust the power myself going forward and the issue was fixed at no charge.A few days later, we accidentally scraped the bottom of the garage door with our car. I texted Dustin and he replied within minutes to give us his next available appointment time. He arrived on time, spent a fair amount of time reviewing and testing various parts, and concluded there were no major issues affecting the garage operation or lifespan. He also said with a smile that our incident had the best outcome he'd seen in years of getting this type of call multiple times a week. Again, no charge for the appointment.Maintenance and repair can oftentimes be the worst part of home ownership, especially when you're constantly trying to avoid being upsold unnecessary products or services. If you're looking for the rare stress-free service experience at a reasonable price, you will not find many professionals more honest, knowledgeable, and nice than Dustin at Paradise Garage Door's. He will be my go-to expert for any future garage issues and is an easy recommendation to friends and family!
Some friends recommended Dustin.I asked my friends for a referral when one of the 4 springs broke on my garage door. I got three names,All three said the garage door was heavy with 4 commercial-grade 2 5/8 springs. In short, it would be expensive to replace them. The first estimate came at $1250. He also mentioned using WD-40 for lubrication on garage doors, but many on the Internet clearly say not to use it! This was a bit confusing. The second guy said he would need to make some calls to find the cost of the springs, but it will be 1000+. He came back with an estimate of $975!The third guy was Dustin! He told me it would cost less than $600. I was surprised! I asked him if he knew the springs were commercial grade, big, and likely to be super expensive. He agreed, but he said that we can replace them with narrower but longer 4 springs! After thinking for a moment, it made sense to me!I had liked the second guy too, so I got back to him and asked if he would use different springs to save some money! He said his quote was for narrower but longer springs anyway ;)Choice was clear. Dustin and his colleague came and replaced all 4 springs for $645!! Dustin told me he had gotten better springs that would offer more cycles.Long story, but I hope it helps others. It provides some ideas. (I was talking to my neighbor yesterday, and she said that they had paid around $2700 for springs a few years ago!! FYI, I had bought a new home from the builder, and the original springs lasted around 17-18 years on my heavy garage)
Paradise Garage Door’s is in my neighborhood, so I often see their vehicles when I’m out walking my dog. A few days ago, my garage door wouldn’t close properly and the hinge was unaligned, so I gave them a call. Dustin picked up right away and was able to schedule a visit for the next day. I really appreciated him fitting me in, especially since he’s currently working on a few custom garage door projects (which is so cool, by the way!).Dustin was incredibly professional and took the time to make sure everything was thoroughly repaired. After he left, I tested the garage door a few times but had trouble getting it to close again. He actually came back early the next morning to double-check everything and it turns out, the door was working perfectly after his fix. It was totally a user error on my part!I’ll be recommending Paradise Garage Door’s and services to all my friends and family. They’re a professional, family-owned business with excellent craftsmanship. They really know their stuff and their pricing is very reasonable.
Needed a new garage door opener installed. Spoke with Dustin on a Tuesday and he was able to get an appointment scheduled for Friday. Got everything set and then he was actually able to make it out the next day. He ended up running a little late but was great about keeping me updated on his ETA. When he did arrive he was professional and friendly. He had the new opener installed in about an hour and left the site as clean as when he arrived. Great service and a good guy!
