Cal Western Overhead Garage Doors and Openers

John installed our garage doors in 2006. We had a problem recently where the garage door would not open all the way. I called several places and they all had the same "answering service" that answered the phone "garage door service". Several had similar names. I tried M&D thinking it was our original installer, and the quote was $850 for new "premium springs" and the tech said the opener might need to be replaced. Luckily my wife remembered John, so we called him. The next day he inspected and adjusted the springs for $65. I am going to put a note on the door itself so we don't call any one else in the future. He laughed at the $850 quote and the multiple businesses all ending up at the same answering service. If we need new springs, it would be closer to $200, but we just needed the springs adjusted. Very satisfied with the service, and honest integrity of Cal-Western Overhead!

John is the best!! He works professionally, early for appt, cleans up after installation and makes sure all works properly and tests before leaving. Our 60 year old garage door had a broken hinge and needed to be replaced. We solicited four bids for the project. Cal-Western, and John, impressed us with no-nonsense and a very fair bid.
