We had Bert come out and install the original garage door some years ago. Bert is one of the owners. The work he does is exceptional, and he's always available when you need him.

Our lift spring broke on Saturday. I sent him a text on Sunday, yesterday, and he got back to me with thirty minutes. He promises to be at our house today between the hours of 12:00 and 1:00 pm.

Bert arrived early, got the work done and did a few dry-runs to make sure the everything worked properly. The guy just left and it's only 12:15 pm. You really can't ask for much more than that.

R&Q Overhead Doors is a solid company that does good work, and their prices are competitive. The price we just paid for him to drive out, take half the overhead mechanism apart and install a new spring straight out the box?

It's unethical for me to say exactly how much, but I can tell you: It wasn't anywhere near what we thought it was going to be.

I come from third generation in family owned construction trades, which means I'm pretty observant when it comes to paid labor and prices. I've had Bert's number locked in my phone since day one. He's the only guy I call for this kind of stuff.

If you're looking for a new garage door, or having your existing one serviced, I'd advise you give them a call.
