Customer feedback is mixed. Many highlight clear communication from sales teams and regular progress updates during construction. Others report concerns about workmanship quality and difficulty resolving service items after move-in. Prospective buyers often recommend reviewing finish levels closely and documenting issues early.

Nothing but problems from day 1. Cheap products. Shotty workmanship. RUN Realtors beware tge screwed my realtor out of their commission.
9 years later. Roof is falling apart. Everyday more shingles in the yard. Impossible to get ahold of anyone. Years ago they just pass the blame, roofer issue not ours. Roofer, normal wear and tear.

Our building experience with Tuskes Homes was overall wonderful! The timeline for completion was on target and we are happy with the quality of work. Nicolise was our sales agent and she was absolutely phenomenal!! She was responsive to any questions we had, and constantly updated us on the status of the home throughout the building process. She would post new photos and videos in the app which was nice since we lived out of state. We have built with other builders in other states and hands down this was our best experience. Thank you to Nicolise, Wes, Katherine, Dana and the rest of the Tuskes Team!

Purchased our dream in home.
I been in my new home less 3 months. Honestly not happy with quality of material used to build our home. When I first Saw it looked flawless of course it was the hype if moving into a new home.
Here are some pics I would continue

to update
Updated – July 2025 (1 Year Since Closing):
Tuskes has failed to honor their 90-day repair offer incomplete. Stairs case are chipped from the daz 1.

Their customer service after purchase is useless. Minor issues turn into a hassle, repairs are promised but never completed, and emails go unanswered for weeks (often up to a month before any follow-up).

Buying a new home should come with peace of mind, but with Tuskes, once the sale is done the service disappears. They’ll gladly roll out the red carpet to make the sale—“my queen ??, what can I do for you”—but after closing, you’re left chasing them for basic warranty work that never gets finished.

I will update the image and video. This is 1 year and 1 month in this House.

This review is overdue. My family business, Lehigh Valley Water Systems works with Tuskes homes directly and indirectly. We’ve worked with many local and national builders over the years; and working with Tuskes has been a breath of fresh air.

If they treat their contractors this good, I’m confident their customers receive equal if not better treatment. In fact, I know this is the case because I’ve meet with hundreds of happy Tuskes Homes customers during and after the building process. I’ve even recommended them to friends. They have wonderful communication; and they are builders who take pride in their work and reputation. Unfortunately, in these days that’s a rare thing to see. You can tell they aren’t in it to make a quick buck, but rather to builder a quality home at a fair price. I highly recommend Tuskes Homes for any future homeowner in the market. It’ll be well worth any additional costs versus some of the bigger “chain” builders. Choose local, choose Tuskes.

Amanda V on Tuskes Homes

Tuskes does not seem to prioritize the environment, your family, or the township in which they build. We have owned a Tuskes-built 'custom' home for 1.5 years.

During the design process, not everything was adequately covered. We expressed dissatisfaction with several options, only to be told, 'this is all we can do!' Interestingly, we later discovered that they were willing to accommodate other homeowners' requests for appliance colors, sizes, tile changes, and even room alterations . Additionally, Tuskes failed to explain certain areas of concern on our plans. We paid a high premium for a lot backed by a retention pond, with the understanding that it was costly due to the view of two ponds. However, after six months, we noticed a small plot that was not listed as buildable had a quick delivery home constructed on it.

Upon moving in, we were persistently pressured to leave a review for Tuskes. We chose to wait, and unsurprisingly, issues began to arise. When we attempted to use the second-floor AC unit, it failed to work. Tuskes sent someone who spent three hours in our attic but couldn't identify the problem. The next day, after removing all the ceiling tiles, they managed to get it working. However, during this process, we discovered that we were missing coolant pipes in the kitchen. Furthermore, we encountered a cracked washing machine drain that caused water to pour out of our first-floor ceiling lights. Despite immediately contacting Tuskes, we were told it was a non-emergency, and they would send someone the following day. Initially, the plumber attempted to blame us, but eventually admitted that the drain was cracked all the way through, posing serious risks. We provided pictures to Tuskes, but despite their prompt replies to reviews, they showed little concern for the fact that our children were playing in water near live electricity.

In addition to these issues, we experienced a cracked window in our kitchen during the middle of winter, which took over three months to replace. Our master bathroom's tile floor began clicking, with one tile even breaking (this was mentioned in our one-year review). A tile worker visited in February and deemed the situation a mess, suggesting that the entire floor needed replacement. Unfortunately, we never heard from the worker again. Moreover, our sump pump in the basement was full and not draining properly. During our one-year review, it was 'adjusted,' only to overflow and flood our basement. We have noticed a moldy smell in our basement bathroom, which we rarely use. Tuskes's solution was simply to use the shower more frequently.

Lastly, their drywall repair technician, who was very polite and apologetic, accidentally broke my daughter's bunk bed in March. He assured us that they had insurance and would take care of it, but we never heard from him again.

Now, let's discuss the neighborhood. During the construction phase, we witnessed construction vehicles and painting vans speeding down the streets where children were playing on their bikes. Food was left and discarded on the streets by workers. The infrastructure has been poor, with our street being torn open four times due to drainage issues. Numerous families have had to replace their concrete driveways due to poor workmanship. And to add to our frustrations, 1.5 years after moving in, the retention pond was bulldozed because it was not properly constructed the first two times ( starting at 6:30 this morning!!) It is disheartening to have paid a premium for a lot and witness such negligence (I want it back!). This extends beyond the sale of your new home—speak to neighbors, read reviews, and consult with the township about any Tuskes-built neighborhoods before committing.

Three weeks since my review was published. Not a single call email or text from Tuskes to resolve issues.

They build in Northeastern Pennsylvania, with a concentration in the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos. Active communities and quick move-in homes are listed on their website and change over time.

Offerings typically include single-family homes in planned communities with a range of sizes and layouts. Model homes and floor plan brochures show included features and available options for each community.

Timelines depend on the community, selected plan, and build stage. Some buyers choose quick move-in homes that are already under construction, while ground-up builds require more time and scheduling.

Confirm the list of included features, community standards, timeline expectations, and any upgrade pricing. It’s also helpful to understand the process for punch-list items and post-closing service requests.

Buyers commonly receive updates through the sales team and project staff, and some report photos or status notes via online tools. Ask your community representative how and how often updates will be provided.
