If you’re looking for a quality home builder, I highly recommend considering Timberlake. My experience with them has been outstanding. Their responsiveness both from the customer service team and staff overall has consistently been one of their strongest traits.Recently, we had wind-related damage to our home from the November 2025 storms. I reached out to Timberlake simply to ask which roofing company they used so I could arrange repairs myself. To my surprise, Timberlake stepped in and handled the repairs directly, even though the issue was well beyond our warranty coverage. I can’t say whether this is standard practice, but their support came at the perfect time, especially while we were furloughed. It showed that Timberlake truly cares about its customers.Personally, if we decide to build again in the future we would choose Timberlake without hesitation. Thank you again to the Timberlake team, especially those I’ve worked with directly such as Diana Gaines, Adam Minzer, Paul Darrow, and a member of the customer service team whose name I unfortunately can’t recall, but whose help was instrumental in getting our recent repairs completed.
Excellent builders. I'm a real estate agent and Timberlake built a home for my seller. Not only did Timberlake deliver a gorgeous home - they absolutely stood behind their product in a way that I've rarely seen with builders. Timberlake honored their one year warranty past the expiration date and got right to work on repairs that buyers requested and they were a huge reason why the seller was able to have a successful sale. These were technically minor repairs that they could have said no to, but they quickly agreed and their customer service team was very responsive. Jason even got a phone call with the new buyers to explain things and make sure they felt great about the purchase. Highly highly recommend!!
We are very pleased that we chose Timberlake Homes to build a house on our lot. Our home, the Sycamore model is truly beautiful!Our lot was not easy to build on. It was initially planned for well and septic, has a long, shared driveway, and had neighbors that were encroaching on the property. Real estate agents, and surveyors said we probably wouldn't be able to build a house on it.We called several homebuilders. They either didn't build in Prince George's County or the builders that did, didn't have a home plan that we liked.Then we found Timberlake Homes. We visited their Hawthorne model home in Clinton MD. We liked the style of the home and the endless ways you could customize the floor plan.We learned Timberlake Homes is also a build on your lot homebuilder. We contacted them, and they evaluated our lot. Timberlake never said we wouldn't be able to build a home on our lot. That stood out to us as an indication of their experience and determination. We met with them and they immediately began planning to build our home.Because of Prince George's County regulations for water and septic systems, the initial build of our home was delayed.Even though more paperwork had to be completed and there were more meetings with the county, Timberlake was patient, and assisted us during the process.During the delay, Jonathan Tepper continuously gave us weekly updates, offered encouragement, and quickly informed us of any important news.Greg McAninch made sure the required forms we had already filed with the county stayed current. He also worked to keep our costs down, and within budget.With Jonathan's assistance we made changes to the Sycamore floor plan that really made our house even more functional for our family's needs. Jonathan has great attention to detail and didn't just answer our questions but gave insight as to why things are done the way they are.Louise Ferreras, our design consultant, was so gracious in helping us decide on floor, cabinet, and granite selections that reflect our style and budget. We've gotten so many compliments on our option choices.Once building began on our home, the process was smooth, efficient, and exciting. BJ, the construction manager, kept everything moving quickly and efficiently. He explained to us what to expect next and how to maintain our home.At the completion of our home build, we received receipts for all costs for developing the lot and our house.The work came in under budget and we were thrilled to receive a refund check along with keys to our new home.Timberlake is professional, easy to work with, listened to our vision for our home, and worked as a team to make the vision come to life.We know we made the best choice for entrusting Timberlake Homes to build our home.With their expertise, we pray they continue to build homes in Prince George’s County for a very long time.Phil and Rolonda Tucker
We recently completed a large addition with Timberlake, and we could not be more pleased with the quality of the work and the amazing customer service. When we started the project, we knew we wanted certain key items, but we really did not know what was possible. Dave Lunden worked with us and our architect to create an addition that was everything we wanted and so much more. Once the plans were finalized, the Timberlake team took the time to plan out the construction process so that it was smooth and efficient. Our construction manager, Dave Lusby, was amazing. He kept us up- to-date on everything, and he was incredibly patient with us, despite our many question (and a few changes). He was meticulous about every detail, and the result is just beautiful. We would highly recommend Timberlake to anyone!
