Ashley and Ed at Cedar Ridge have been absolutely wonderful to work with...I highly recommend them if you need to do a home rebuild or restoration work. Our home suffered from tree damage related to Hurricane Helene. I called Cedar Ridge after noticing a home they were building a couple of streets over and seeing just how quickly it was all coming together. Their estimates were very detailed and comprehensive, as well as being reasonable. They kept me notified about all the work they planned to do each week and were very easy to reach if I had any questions. They completed my home repairs under schedule along with an attention to detail I feel many contractors would not have given. We have plans for a bathroom remodel at some point in the future, and Cedar Ridge will be the first ones I contact!
I got Ed's info from friends who recommended him since he was the lead contractor building a house that they designed. For a month after Helene I had storm damage, but multiple no-show contractors. But once I set an appointment with Ed he was there on the dot and eager to assess the damage and provide repairs. He also talked me through and explained the repairs he was doing patiently and clearly. His quote was very reasonable and I look forward to working with him again – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
We feel so lucky to have found Ashley and Ed for our kitchen renovation! Ashley and Ed did an amazing job seeing this project through from start to finish. Given the scale of what we were doing (complete kitchen renovation as well as moving a laundry room), it was very important that we stay on budget as well as schedule, since we were living in the house during the renovation. Cedar Ridge did a great job of managing costs and staying on schedule through the process. They delivered us a BEAUTIFUL kitchen on schedule and on budget. They care a lot about the work that they do.
TL; DR - if you read nothing else of this review, know you want to work with Cedar Ridge. They are responsive, professional and will treat your project like their own while delivering quality workmanship and an eye for detail.That said, Ed and Ashley are amazing, and an awesome team. They've done two large projects for us, a full kitchen remodel and a deck replacement. They had no issue answering any of our questions or clarifying the building codes. We enjoyed working with all their subs and never felt like it was a hassle. They clean up their worksites regularly and we can't say enough how impressed we were with their consistent attention to detail.Sometimes issues and delays pop up in large projects. Cedar Ridge handles those hiccups seamlessly and sets expectations realistically. Even if it's not really what you want to hear, they'll tell you the facts, and give you real options on how to proceed while being mindful of your budget. We really appreciated their forthright and knowledgeable approach to things.The kitchen and deck are beautiful. We received quality product for a good value. Whatever your realistic budget is, Ed and Ashley can make it work. We would work with them again and again without question!
We recently had a major exterior addition project completed by Cedar Ridge Builders and I can't speak highly enough of them. They communicate clearly on timelines and are super responsive to questions or concerns via email or text. The estimates they give for work are fair and consistent and reflect the quality of work done. Ashley is great about communicating through the entire process (no matter how big or small your project) and Ed really sweats the details/little touches + is great at coming up with creative solutions to any issues within a project's constraints. Highly recommend them if you're looking for a team that can do pretty much anything!
