Reviews frequently mention responsive sales staff and helpful communication during the buying process. Several homeowners note smooth design studio experiences and timely follow-up from warranty teams. Critical feedback points to quality control issues and punch-list items after closing, with some reports of delays in addressing certain repairs. Experiences vary by community and home, so buyers often recommend detailed walkthroughs and third-party inspections.
Update: Amanda and Kyle have been great to work with. They are timely in responses and addressing my concerns or needs. Closing next week, so excited for this new journey! Great experience each time I visit. Amanda is very detailed and personable. Jessica was also most helpful the last visit in Amanda's absence. Keep up the good work ladies!
This is the first house I’ve ever purchased so my wife and I were very big eyed and bushy tailed. Now that we’ve been here for a few years, I can give an honest review. Ivey Homes is easy to deal with, but the quality of work is exactly what you would expect from pop up houses as I like to call them. All I can say to potential buyers is have someone with you to check the house out that has bought a house before. Poor craftsmanship on some of the things and just regular quality work would have prevented it.Reply to Iveys reply: As I type this, my faucet in my bathroom is leaking. After 2yrs? And you believe in quality craftsmanship? My ceiling fan in my room has stopped working. So my previous post was a snapshot. You all left red dirt on the bottom trim of the house. You guys patched a section of the cement in the driveway. I mean, do I need to go on? Although I’m thankful for you all doing business with me, and we love our home, a little attention to detail would have been nice.
When I tell you that you can NEVER judge a book by it's cover; believe it! I left a glowing review before, but I shouldn't have! After talking to a lawyer and getting lawsuit papers started; they finally decided to fix what should have been done right the FIRST time! I've been in my townhouse a year now and yet to enjoy my backyard or anything close to it until I decided to file a suit! I will NEVER buy an IVEY built home again! Not only do they NOT communicate, but they lie and make empty promises because the higher management suck! Look at this mess! If they had done this when I mentioned it in the beginning, we would NOT be here! If they gave me this house free, I wouldn't take it because there would be too many issues! I have yet to hear from anyone other than Joe. You would think Allen Grinalds, the project manager, would try to be helpful, no! Nasty, unconcerned, and the other act the same! PLEASE be warned!
The Iveys became the declarants of our neighborhood, Crawford Creek about 5 years ago and hired the management company, CMA at that time. Our once beautiful, well taken care of community has turned into a neglected, run down shell of what it used to be because of their neglect and mismanagement. They will not respond to or address resident's concerns and are only caring for the new construction homes section that they are currently building in. The entire neighborhood is up in arms about their lack of attention. If you are considering g buying an Ivey home in an Ivey community, beware!!
The process in building with Ivey was seamless. The sales agents are absolutely wonderful. Sales agents and Ivey staff communication is great, very responsive to requests/questions. The design studio experience with their amazing designer was exciting and helpful. Even after closing the warranty department ensures they address all your concerns. The biggest issue is quality control, there were numerous issues we had to submit to warranty upon closing. It is a burdensome to have to submit all these items and coordinate missing work to have things repaired. I think better quality control up front would reduce this. Overall, I highly recommend building your new home with Ivey.
