Renovation or new construction. SG Builders is a company that delivers. We had a big ask in a small space. Wanted to open up a wall and with that was every single utility going upstairs. We set a budget before they started and they stayed within it and kept us updated every step of the way. They brought in true professionals and they were in and out and everything was clean and tidy. Not only did we open the wall but we added lights in the ceiling. As well as floors through both rooms. They matched everything from our existing lights to the new and it all looks like it was meant to be. Can’t say enough about this company. I would highly recommend you give them a call for any project.
From the very beginning, the SG Home Builders team was straightforward and transparent about both the cost and the timeline for our project. To note, as a customer you have to be realistic in expectations as well and Ryan was great to help us understand the context and reality of construction.Large construction projects (we did a large garage + above garage living space addition) can feel like a black-box, but with Ryan and Greg we always knew what to expect, which gave us peace of mind. This was no short process. From initial meeting to completion of the project was 18 months - design with architecture, quoting, permitting with the city and then waiting for Chicago weather to cooperate:) There is a lot of back and forth so having someone you can trust and that is dedicated to open communication is a must.The team was responsive to every question and detail along the way, making the process smooth and collaborative. They were able to listen to our needs (and wants) and help us weigh options so we could make the best decision for the design and more importantly the budget. We are incredibly happy with the result and would recommend SG Home Builders to anyone looking for a team they can trust.
We are super happy with how our project with SG turned out. Ryan, Greg and Danielle were awesome to work with. They were easy to work with, always kept us updated, and made sure everything was done the way we wanted. The quality is great, and they were happy to change things (when we changed our minds on stuff!) along the way, which was a huge relief. The site was kept clean during the project which meant a lot. The finished project looks even better than we expected. We have, and would recommend them to anyone!

Ryan, Danielle, Greg and the SG Team are amazing! We had 2 bathroom renovations and were nervous about the process.
