A wonderful experience from start to finish. Oakwood built a spectacular home for my clients in addition to all of the accessibility features that they needed. Amber Youngers was absolutely amazing to work with. She was very knowledgeable about the inventory, transparent about pricing, and went above and beyond to accommodate everything that we needed at every stage of the process from pre construction to final walk thru. Cannot say enough great things, a HIGHLY recommendable experience, if I could give 10 stars, I would!!

????? Review for Oakwood Homes & especially Nicky Shindler Buying our first home was one of the most meaningful experiences for our family, and Nicky Shindler made it absolutely unforgettable. From day one, she was kind, patient, and incredibly dedicated. She made the entire process feel easy and stress-free, even though everyone always says buying a home is complicated. With her, it wasn’t — she guided us through every single step with so much care. Nicky answered all of my questions (and there were many!), even on her day off. She truly went above and beyond for us, and you can feel how much she loves her job and cares about the families she works with. She wasn’t just doing paperwork — she was supporting us emotionally and making sure we felt confident in every decision. We’ve now been living in our home for three months, and she STILL checks on us to make sure we’re comfortable and happy. That kind of follow-up is rare, and it shows her genuine heart. It feels like she’s experiencing the excitement of our new home right along with us. During inspection, we found a few small things and Oakwood fixed them immediately. After moving in, we noticed a couple of minor details again, but nothing major at all. With the one-year warranty, we emailed the team and they responded right away. Honestly, the “issues” have been extremely minimal — things like a loose doorknob — and everything has been taken care of quickly. Overall, we could not be happier. The quality of the home is excellent, the customer service has been amazing, and Nicky has been the BEST part of this entire journey. I don’t think there’s anyone out there who could have treated us better than she did. She made us feel special, supported, and truly cared for. If you’re considering buying with Oakwood Homes, ask for Nicky Shindler. She made our dream come true in the most beautiful way.

My husband and I closed on our new Oakwood Home end of October and absolutely love it!!! The entire process went so smoothly and we were kept in the loop throughout the entire build. They even have a portal to track the progress of your home. The entire TEAM was AMAZING… Vanise, Amber, Bret, and Chris… couldn’t have done it without you!!! Oakwood Homes puts in high end appliances and finishes in their base models compared to other builders making you pay extra for those things.

Ritchie Kotschau with Oakwood Homes has done an amazing job communicating with my first-time homebuying clients keeping them informed as their new home is being built. He responds quickly and sends videos of the construction progress keeping everyone in the loop. It's exciting to watch! The customer experience has been fantastic. My Buyers are SO excited. Thank you for giving them VIP treatment! They will be new homeowners in a month :)
