Carl Deputy & Son Builders

Carl Duputy & Son's worked with us to design and build a custom 4 car garage attached to our home by a breezeway. The quality of work is unmatched and the communication throughout the construction project was awesome; even maintaining communication while they were on vacation. I couldn't be happier with the completion our custom garage.

We had a great experience building our new home with Carl Deputy and Son Builders. The entire group were very professional, nice, and made the building experience very easy for us. One year later, we couldn’t be happier with our home. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build.

We highly recommend Carl Deputy and Son Builders to anyone looking for a new home or wanting to add on to or renovate an existing home. Carl and Jeremy are exceptionally professional and kind people who provide true CUSTOM building. They turned our dreams into reality and ensured that even the smallest detail was completed to our complete delight. Our pleasure in working with Carl Deputy and Son Builders started at our first meeting. It was clear that Carl was committed to high-quality building and that he would go the extra mile to give us a detailed and accurate estimate of the costs, where other builders would provide only a rough estimate prior to having a signed contract. We toured one of their model homes and were impressed with everything we saw. Construction of a 2338 sq ft addition and 813 sq ft garage began one week after closing on the purchase of our home. Jeremy Deputy led us through all the steps of construction, employing exceptional subcontractors and his own highly-skilled team of home builders. You won't find a better Director of Operations than Jeremy. He has a deep knowledge of building, he has great people skills, and his ability to manage multiple projects on a coordinated schedule is awe-inspiring. His communication skills are exceptional also. Our construction was completed on time and on budget. We are very pleased with the high-quality features of the home, including the foundation, framing, mechanicals and materials selections, maintenance-free exterior, and the conditioned crawlspace. Jeremy was conscientious in matching items and styles to integrate our new addition with the existing house. He and all his workers were very accommodating to our needs as we lived in the existing house during construction. We love everything about the new addition to our home. It is beautiful, comfortable, and exceptionally well-built. After a previous small addition with another builder, I thought I would never want to build again. Carl Deputy and Son Builders made the construction such a delightful process, we are planning a future renovation of the existing house in a few years.

What a great home-building experience with Carl Deputy & Son Builders! After 4 years of traveling the entire U.S. and Canada full-time in our RV, we chose to settle down again in “Lower Slower Delaware”, near one set of our kids/grandkids. After finding the perfect piece of property, we met with several local area home builders. In our first meeting with Carl Deputy, we knew they had to be our builders! Having never built a home before, we “didn’t know what we didn’t know” and Carl patiently walked us through the entire process. He even drove us around to a few of their model homes and nearly completed homes to give us an understanding of their building process and designs. Meeting Carl, his wife Patty, son Jeremy, and long-time office person, Marilyn, felt like meeting family! We contracted with Carl Deputy & Son just before needing to head to FL for the winter months. Their pricing was also quite competitive. From the start of the build, Jeremy took over the day-to-day supervision and they made great progress while we were out-of-state. We felt totally comfortable working with Jeremy long-distance. His communication was fantastic. He even took us on FaceTime video tours of the project and sent us photos periodically. Even though we chose an existing floor-plan of theirs, Jeremy was so accommodating with both little and big changes to make the home uniquely our own. He was patient with us, explained everything to our satisfaction, and handled on-the-fly changes extremely well. Jeremey was amazing! They had originally estimated 6 months from start to completion…and, sure enough, they were spot-on! We moved into our wonderful new home exactly 6 months from when they started the foundation work. On-time and on-budget. The construction quality and value have been excellent. Jeremy and his crew were very detail-oriented, extremely professional, and focused 100% on our satisfaction as customers. We couldn’t have had a better experience and we highly recommend Carl Deputy & Son Builders for anyone building their dream home!
