We knew our old wooden deck needed to be replaced, so we went ahead and collected three quotes. After comparing apples to apples and meeting each company’s owners, we decided to go with CHW (Custom Home Works) — and we’re so glad we did.

From start to finish, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. After viewing and measuring our property, Justin provided a very reasonable quote along with a fair and straightforward payment schedule. When he and his crew arrived for the tear-down, they took great care to protect the other recent yardwork we’d had done, which we truly appreciated.

Patrick (especially), Sergio, and Cory worked diligently — through rain and cold — to get the job done. Every single one of them was extremely professional, friendly, and respectful. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team.

The result is outstanding. Every time I look out the window, I’m thrilled, and I can’t wait for spring so we can start enjoying our beautiful new deck.

We HIGHLY recommend CHW and will, without question, use them again for future projects!

The crew we had of Paul and Eric were friendly, timely, efficient, and their craftsmanship was second to none.
They took immense pride in their work and went out of their way to ensure the job was done well, explaining any small hiccup.
Despite putting in long days, they listened to our (many) questions and made sure we understood.

We would recommend Custom Home Works without any hesitation. Our new space is beautiful, functional, well executed, and an area we will enjoy and be proud to show off for many years to come.

The team, Justin, Cole, Sergio and the last day, Corey and Patrick were added to the mix to finish off, were all wonderful to work with. As Sergio didn’t hesitate to tell me “that won’t look right”, LOL, with 18 years experience I figured he was right and he was.
My husband and I are getting on in years so it was nice they took the furniture off the deck and put it back when they finished. Thank you to all for your patience and caring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CHW for any renovation you need.

We had substantial damage to an existing deck from the winter, we wanted it torn down and rebuilt. To add to the trouble, living in a middle unit townhouse with no access around, all material from demolition and new construction had to go through the house. The floors were always covered and protected, the work area and the access through the house was always kept clean. From the initial quote to the finishing touches the crew at Custom Home Works knocked it out of the park. We couldn’t be happier with the result.

Justin and Ryan were our go to guys, efficiency and honesty personified. We had delays and they worked with us with no issues at all. Paul and Alex built our beautiful 2 level deck. Attention to detail, polite courteous and always left things so tidy. I hoped to have my family on Mother'sDay on our new deck and we did!! It's just beautiful. I will recommend this company 100%.
