We truly enjoyed our experience working with Legacy on our custom home! No custom home build experience is perfect, but I can honestly say we had an overall enjoyable experience with Doug and Nate as well as their subs! From the beginning, we appreciated how detail oriented Nate was during the planning and bid stages. It’s very important to them to know exactly what their customer wants so that the bid is as close as it can be to the final cost! They communicated very well throughout our build on cost of change orders and keeping us and them on track with the cost of the project. I’d give them 10 stars for how organized and professional they were with that!Doug was our general contractor on our home and was there every day which we appreciated so much! Plus, he was so fun!!! We loved that Doug’s vision for our home was even better than we could’ve imagined. He is a talented designer and his attention to detail and quality are top notch! Something else I appreciated were the subs they hire. Doug makes sure to work with reputable companies who stand behind their work.Would I build with Legacy again? YES!!! They have proven to be honest and professional and made the entire process enjoyable and pretty stress free! I believe that was because of their good communication, knowledge, commitment to quality, ability to really listen to us as their clients and having subs who they’ve worked with for years and have also proven to be reliable. Nate and Doug know their stuff and it shows in their beautiful, quality custom homes!
Building with Doug and Nate was a tremendous experience. I have had several custom homes built for me in the past and working with Legacy Homes was such a better experience. They actually listened to me, which isn't always the case with builders. They understood my needs and worked hard to ensure they were met. We built our custom home with Legacy in 2018. They took all of my ideas, wants and needs and produced a beautiful home above my expectations. We had monthly spread sheets on all expenses and came in right at the bid prices. Their sub contractors were exceptional and were quick to respond if there were any details that needed to be addressed. I would highly recommend them for your custom home needs. The owners were a delight to work with from day one and were always responsive.
