After living in our home for a decade we decided we wanted to install a sauna on the 2nd story balcony. We didn’t it have the original plans so I reached out to Cody Weight ( President) and he was extremely helpful in finding old plans. He went to great lengths to located plans from 2014!!!
I have been a Solitude Home owner for almost 7 years. I was not the original owner, however, I was the first occupant. That means no homeowner warranties! Being the first occupant means all the bugs snd little issues are yours to resolve with no help from subcontractors. Solitude Homes is a great home builder, so the bugs and fixes were minimal. For the few issues I did experience, Cody Weight came through for me! Cody did not know me when I reached out to him. He could have put me on the back burner. That however, was not the case at all! Cody treated me like family! He has never abandoned me. He has made himself so available by providing me with solutions and sub contractors over these past several years! I come from a builder background so I know a quality builder! If you are ever in doubt about your choice in home builders, Ism here to tell you to choose Cody Weight and Solitude Homes! Quality that will last a lifetime and a commitment to you, the homeowner! I am forever grateful!

Agreed to build a home for us on property we had bought in Garden Valley. Agreed to initial assessment of cost then a few months after we gave them a $5,000 deposit they told me the cost would be $200,000 more than we had originally planned. Could not afford to stay with the project and ultimately had to sell our property and give up on the dream. I would not recommend hiring Solitude or Cody to build your home. They would not refund any of our deposit.
Solitude homes built our dream home, and it turned out beautiful! Kevin was great to work with, and the company was very flexible in adding the changes we wanted in the original design. We had some minor incomplete and incorrect issues, but those are nearly complete now, and Kevin has been committed to getting things done.Thanks to the team a Solitude Homes!
