We recently moved into our new home and our experience with Walsh Brothers Builders exceeded all expectations. John is a pleasure to work with. His honesty, integrity and quality of workmanship made the project a great experience. Every step of the way, we felt that John was our partner. His philosophy was “I want you to love your home”. He guided us through the many selections required in a custom home and whatever we requested, he made it happen. He clearly loves what he does and it showed in the finished product. Top-notch, professional, and efficient! My family and I have had the pleasure of working with Walsh Brothers Builders on multiple projects, over the past 20 years. From building our home from the ground up, refreshing our barn, to finishing our basement, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Their workmanship has been impeccable and their attention to detail, quality of materials, and precision in every task has made each project a success. The Walsh’s are honest, transparent and provide great advice on where it makes sense to invest a little more and where you can save, ensuring the project stays within budget while not sacrificing quality. Next steps and expectations were always defined, we always knew where we stood and when to expect the next phase to be completed etc. Overall, working with Walsh’s has been a fantastic experience, and I would not hesitate to hire them again for any future projects. We found John just using Google to look for builders local to the area. He walked us through a house that was being built and after talking in depth about his plans for it we committed. From those early discussions it was clear to me John cared about making sure the house was high quality and doing the right thing for the customer. Since we signed on during an early building phase, we were able to customize almost anything: tiles, flooring, cabinets, countertop/backsplash, plumbing/light fixtures, utility locations, trim/wall paint, garage doors, landscaping… John could tell we wanted to be hands on and actively brought things to our attention that he thought we might have an opinion on. He was very patient and helped us through these decisions, giving us advice and trying to identify things we would like. Throughout the building process John was very attentive, easily reachable, detail-oriented and always available to answer any questions. He followed up when he said he would, kept track of any changes we discussed, always took the time to explain what was going on or how things worked. This reassured us we were in good hands. John kept us updated on the status of the build, allowing us to drop by anytime to see progress as well as ask any questions of him or his team. All his sub-contractors were as friendly and easy to work with as he was. The house was delivered on time and we’ve had no issues with the house since moving in a month ago. Any questions we’ve had about how things worked John has answered. Buying a house can be a stressful and difficult time and we are really grateful we chose to work with John. We highly recommend him.

I loved working with J.Walsh Builders on my parents rebuild! Their house had burned and needed to be replaced. J Walsh Builders worked with us on I ensure we came in on budget and in the desired timing! Very responsive to our questions and concerns. Great company to work with overall.
