Then I met a young, handsome, energetic man at one of his job sites. He was covered in stone dust — I could barely see anything but his eyes. That person was Michael Barr. His father, James, never came to speak with me directly. Mike explained clearly how much I would need to pay each week for his services, and he assured me he would take full responsibility for the entire project. He was exactly the kind of professional I had been searching for — someone I could trust one hundred percent. That is why my wife and I chose Mike as our builder. Mike explained every step of the process with complete transparency. There were no hidden surprises. The entire project was well organized and moved quickly. Without compromising the architectural design, Mike reduced the number of unnecessary windows and saved $50,000. I had full freedom to choose high-quality appliances from Ferguson and selected tiles from Fitzgerald at discounted prices. Joe the electrician, Bob the plumber, and Ray the HVAC specialist all attended meetings to discuss the project. It was a wonderfully coordinated team effort. Mike delivered the house on time — even earlier than I expected. Whenever any issue arises, he immediately sends his team to address it. I truly believe I will never find another builder equal to Mike in every aspect. He has become part of our family.
