Tectonic Design Build

Tectonic were amazing start to finish with our remodel. We could cite everything you read in other reviews: excellent and collaborative design process, detailed planning and execution (on time, on budget), and just lovely people to work with. What I would emphasize in addition is the great communication from everybody on the team. We lived on site through most of the process, and they kept us up to date with what to expect on a daily basis and were prompt in answering any questions or resolving the very few issues that came up. 5/5 stars, would recommend.

We loved working with Tectonic! Having gone through two other home remodels in different states—both using the traditional design-bid-build model—we were braced for the usual headaches: surprise costs, endless change orders, and questionable practices that left us stressed and over budget. Working with Tectonic was a completely different experience.

From the start, their design process was smooth and collaborative. They were responsive to every question and tweak we asked for, making sure the final design fit both our functional needs and aesthetic goals. Once construction began, their crew proved to be exceptional—honest, transparent, and genuinely kind people. They worked hard to earn our trust, communicated openly, and handled the inevitable challenges that come up in construction with speed and professionalism.

We absolutely loved working with Tectonic Design and Build on our whole home renovation! They transformed our Nederland home into the serene and modern mountain retreat we envisioned.

We had a sense of how we wanted to change the existing space to fit our family, but Kate, our talented interior designer, was instrumental in bringing our vision to life with her thoughtful choices and attention to detail. We ended up touching most areas of the house including the kitchen, all the bathrooms, the entire basement, the deck, and a small addition. A renovation of this scale was daunting to us as busy working parents of two small children, but Tectonic made us feel confident that we could tackle it together. Our trust in Tectonic was rewarded, and our project turned out exactly as well as we had hoped (and it was completed *ahead of schedule* which is a truly impressive feat for mountain construction).

Throughout both the design and build process, their communication was excellent and very organized. We got daily updates through BuilderTrend which made the entire process much less stressful especially when we struggled to find time to stop by the house. They were always receptive to feedback and it truly felt like we could be completely honest with our opinions.

Throughout the project, it was clear that Tectonic Design and Build was deeply invested in our happiness and ensuring the final result perfectly matched our dreams for our house. I've never had a better punch list experience - it was so easy to get things fixed without any hassle. That was in no small part thanks to Justin, our project manager, who ensured every aspect of the build was flawlessly executed and made the entire construction process remarkably stress-free for our family.

I have unequivocally recommended Tectonic to coworkers and friends who have also had good experiences. If you are thinking about tackling a remodel, give them a shout!

Tectonic rocked our N Boulder remodel. We can't speak highly enough about the team's design/build process, craftsmanship, and customer service/communication. Very helpful design guidance and project management transparency to boot. Added up: a positive overall experience and excellent end result. The project at our ranch house in Lyons was a great success! Tectonic went above and beyond our expectations in their transparency, communication, and delivery. The combination of the three built a lot of trust and comfort during heavy construction, and the delivery showed us our trust was well deserved. 6 bathrooms and the whole kitchen remodeled. The whole team really knocked it out of the park. Looking forward to our next project!
