Sheppard homes are second to none when it comes to well built homes. From start to finish the experience of buying a new home from Sheppard Custom Homes was wonderful. Peter and Paul helped me every step of the way before closing and are always available now to answer texts and calls. I would recommend a Sheppard home for sure!

We're thrilled with how our home turned out with Sheppard Homes! We came to the process after the unit was already framed, so most of our customization was done in the finishes but we're very happy with how things turned out. They are professional and friendly to work with and efficient! Not only did we close on time, but a week ahead of schedule. Every neighbor we speak with has nothing but positive things to say about Sheppard and many of them are on their 2nd or even 3rd builds with them, which says a lot for the quality over time. If you want a reputable builder you can trust and even have a few laughs with, these guys are it.

If I could give this no stars I would. Met with Peter Sheppard July 9th for intro and discussion on availability. Talked through options. Agreed to think on it and let him know if we wanted to proceed. Waited a few days and emailed him to tell him we wanted to proceed. Waited four or five weeks to hear back from him after two emails and two phone calls. He finally gets back and says “sorry for the delay don’t think I don’t care. we probably should meet as others are interested in one of the remaining lots.” He asked for availability to meet that time was of the essence. Emailed him back right away (same day) with two and a half weeks of availability to meet. He did not respond until after I reached out again two weeks later saying we only had a few days left in that availability given. Excuses about problems they were having to work through with this and that. Emailed him back a day later and said we were no longer interested. He emails back 32 minutes later saying “sounds good, will let others know lots are available.” Had Weeks to communicate what issues they are facing and that he’s trying to figure out a time to meet and he can’t communicate. We tell him we’re opting out and he responds immediately. Not a good look. Clearly he was putting us through some weird vetting process. Unprofessional. Be careful.
