SHELTER Custom-Built Living

I highly recommend Shelter Custom Built Homes for any custom home project! We have worked with their team on a new project my company designed in Kiawah River on John's Island and they did an amazing job on this custom build for our clients. Their portfolio of custom homes is second to none and their pride in their craft is apparent in all of their projects! Patrick Broderick of Broderick Design Group, LLC

We built our current home on DI with Shelter. We love our new home and the team was amazing to work with! The process ran smoothly and they were on top of all our needs. Ryan is an exceptional builder with a very creative eye. I would highly recommend!

Ryan Butler is an exceptionally talented builder that I have had the pleasure of working with, alongside his Shelter team, for the past 6 years. His professional knowledge, attention to detail, and business management is impeccable. Shelter creates an environment that makes building an exciting experience. The quality of his product and craftsmanship is unprecedented. I appreciate that Ryan is not only business oriented but extremely influential in the creative process. I highly recommend Shelter to build your dream home.

Shelter oversaw the design aspect of the remodel of our former home, and we could not have been more impressed with this team. Jenny’s creative eye for beautifying and maximizing our space was impeccable. She’s not only extremely talented, but also very patient, and was always available to answer any questions or help in any way throughout the process. We most recently hired Shelter to assist with exterior paint color and design of our new home, and once again love the outcome. We’ve had such a positive experience with this company, and would highly recommend!

When we decided to remodel our home on Daniel Island, SC we chose to work with Shelter Custom-Built Living because my husband and I love their architectural style and the quality of their work. We knew immediately knew that Shelter's modern design style suited our needs. Working with Ryan, Jenny and the Shelter team from conception to completion was a first rate design experience. Ryan and Jenny were always available to brainstorm ideas and offered creative ideas when weighing options. As an active family of 5 we knew we needed a very functional layout for everyday life with three boys. Adding a game room has provided us with the perfect space for everyday living and also for entertaining. We highly recommend Shelter Custom-Built Living.
