We had a very good experience with Bourbon Builders. We have been in our house for 30 years, and we were overdue for a kitchen remodel. Finding reputable contractors in this area is hit or miss, and we prefer to find them through word of mouth recommendation. This time was no different, as we met someone that had recently used Bourbon for a kitchen remodel, and offered us a tour. We liked the work, and the rest is history.We had our kitchen and family room, plus a small half-bath renovated. This included adding hardwood flooring in the kitchen, and tile flooring in the laundry room. Rory and Paige, the owners, were engaged in every step of the process. Rory was usually on site every day that work was being accomplished by his sub-contractors. The sub-contractors are all top-notch. Minor changes along the way were not an issue. The hardwood flooring team matched the rest of the existing hardwood incredibly well. We were very impressed.In summary, we highly recommend Bourbon Builders for any remodeling work. Five stars!
Our experience with Paige and Rory at Bourbon Builders was amazing from start to finish. They are incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, and helped us create our dream kitchen and dining room. They treated us like family and made every step of the process stress-free and enjoyable.We had several unique custom requests and they made those ideas become a reality. They made us feel as if anything was possible and no idea was too much to handle.The final product surpassed every expectation that we had for the project.We started with a 1969 eyesore of a kitchen and a closed-off dining room that we never used. Now our home is the envy of all our friends and family. And everybody wants to know…”who built your kitchen?” We tell them proudly…”Bourbon Builders, they really are the best!”
Rory and Paige, Bourbon Builders, did a major master bath renovation/update for us in the Spring of 2022. In addition, they retiled our two upstairs baths and replaced the carpet on our stairs with hardwood treads. Renovating an older home is never without surprises, and while we did not find many, the ones we did find Rory and his staff handled calmly, professionally and his "can do" attitude is great to work with. Paige was great helping us with design decisions, always giving her honest opinion and sharing previous experiences that were very helpful. Their prices are reasonable and fair, there were some supply issues, (related to the pandemic) which we jointly were able to work around, and a few delays due to staffing shortages with one of their sub-contractors, but nothing that we had not expected upfront. Bourbon Builders did an amazing job on our bathroom remodel! They converted a 1970's bathroom into a beautiful modern masterpiece. Paige was wonderful and fun to work with helping us pick out our new vanity, tile, fixtures and flooring. Rory's craftsmanship and eye for details was above and beyond what we expected. We couldn't be happier. We are looking forward to our next project with Bourbon Builders.
