Updated review: When we first purchased our house, we had concerns about drainage and were told it would be “fine.” Well, it’s not fine. Nothing about our yard is fine. So after spending almost 400k on a home with a zero lot line, we have to spend a few thousand more to fix what shouldn’t have been an issue to begin with. Also, the people who put in our sidewalk must have been blind or just plain incompetent. It is sinking and mud loves to collect there. It gets slippery and it’s not safe! Plus, it’s an eye sore. Do better!!!!

We are very pleased with our experience with Grant & Co. Builders. The design and style of our home exceeded my expectations. Dempsey Bloechl, my builder worked tirelessly to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and hardworking. He, as well as Amber Poe, were very responsive to any question I may have had. He and his team truly care about their client's happiness. I've never had such a positive experience with a builder. (this is our second home we had built). We are now moved in to our beautiful home in Arlington and couldn't be happier.

I am profoundly disappointed with Grant & Co. We chose them believing they were a builder of exceptional quality, a "class act," as it were. However, our experience since moving into our new home has been nothing short of a complete letdown.

From the outset, we encountered significant drainage issues in our backyard. Instead of addressing the problem responsibly, Grant & Co. attempted to deflect blame, citing a pre-existing retaining wall. This flimsy excuse was unacceptable. What's even more disheartening is their subsequent complete lack of responsiveness. We've been met with silence, our legitimate concerns ignored.

Now, just over a year into homeownership, we are grappling with severe foundation problems, directly attributable to the very drainage issues they refused to resolve. The level of negligence is staggering. My trust in Grant & Co. has been utterly shattered. I cannot express the depth of my disappointment. I would rate their performance far below any acceptable standard.

This home is located in the Retreat at Center Hill and built in 2021.

The home is very poorly constructed as well as missing several important items as prescribed in the brochure. My home has several issues such as leaks in the interior walls, split wood on the front of the home, unfinished craftsmanship, standing water on the lawn (landscape), bad toilets, different color paint on ceilings and so many other issues. The home was supposed to come with a radiant barrier but instead they used Covid as the reason why it wasn’t done and there was NO compensation. The warranty work is not completed in a timely fashion on and on. They even have my name as a person who has given them good reviews on the testimony portion of the web page but the person I was referring too (Kevin Ruby) work for the mortgage company I used (Community Mortgage).

Please don’t be deceived by Grant and Co (Keith and David) it is not worth you purchase!

As a veteran of the United States Navy, I am ashamed to have any association to Grant & Co Home Builders Memphis and Desoto.

The pictures attached are just a few of the very very craftsmanship of this home and the builder could care less. Be smart purchase somewhere else or you can purchase my poorly constructed home!

We closed on a Grant Home in Olive Branch and the home is decent; HOWEVER, we do not have internet. Century Link informed my husband Grant would not allow them to lay a line down while they are building, seriously (they set up an appointment for install PRIOR to us closing on our home & then cancelled)!! Another ISP said, "hmmm, this is odd normally we lay the lines with the utility lines, we must not have been notified". There is a school located in this particular community! We have paved roads & running water, but no internet. Grant said they are only responsible for the utility lines, what a joke! This is 2019 not 1919!! Buyer beware if looking at a new home built by Grant on a new street in Olive Branch with a top rated school mind you!!
Addendum: we closed in July still NO INTERNET in the Forest Hill Community as of 11/13 (the new phase) would not recommend buying in this area!
