Customer feedback is mixed. Several reviewers praise clear communication during construction and say punch-list items were handled after move-in. Others report difficulties with responsiveness, including slow follow-up on issues and delays returning calls or emails. Overall ratings suggest experiences vary by project and timing.
Building with Watson Homes was a no-brainer for my husband and me. From the very first meeting, the team understood our vision and delivered results beyond our expectations. Communication was clear and consistent throughout the entire process, and we always felt confident in the quality and integrity of their work. The Watson team truly runs on all cylinders and puts their clients first. If you’re on the fence about who to build with, I highly recommend meeting with Watson Homes to build your forever home.
If you're looking for a builder in Conway, be sure to choose one who's willing to stand by their work. We learned this lesson the hard way when we built a new home with Watson Homes. In an inspection BEFORE CLOSING, water issues and mold were found in the crawlspace. The builder, Kevin, signed a document promising to fix the problem, but he only showed up sporadically the first year even after countless texts and emails. A second inspection a year later (before our warranty expired) found the same issues. 16 months after closing after more emails and texts, he claimed the problem was resolved. Our mistake was not paying for a THIRD inspection which shouldn’t be needed on a home less than two years old.Fast forward 18 months, and we're selling our home due to a job change. The same issue was found in the buyer's inspection, and we had to pay thousands of dollars to fix it. When we reached out to Kevin, he didn't care and blamed us for not telling him sooner which is ridiculous because we told him before we moved in and during the warranty period! He's probably going to try to defend himself by saying we made a lot of money on the sale of our home, but that's irrelevant. The fact is, he never completed the work he promised and clearly doesn’t stand behind his work. So, if you're looking for a builder, do yourself a favor and avoid Kevin. Even if your home is beautiful, you may be left with underlying issues that he won’t resolve. It's not worth the headache and frustration.
We met with this company twice and planned to use them until they stopped returning our email & texts. After a while we simply realized they were just too busy for our home building project.I would have preferred my time not have been wasted meeting with them and expecting responses to my questions.Thankfully we found a respectful builder who has been great and we break ground next month.Don't expect Watson to work with you unless it's a large enough project that's worth his time.Apparently a $200,000 home construction project is beneath them.
Watson was recommended to us and we met with Kevin 2 weeks ago. We have attempted to contact him via phone and email almost every day since that day to follow up and discuss additional issues. We have received NO response. I don’t think Watson needs, or wants, our business. We are researching other builder/contractors in hopes of finding someone who cares about customer service.
I chose Watson & Watson to build my house because of the good reviews I read about them and I'm glad I did. They kept me informed about every detail as the house was being constructed and made sure I got just what I wanted. After I moved in they were always there to promptly fix little things that needed touching up or fixing. I highly recommend Watson & Watson.
