We recently had our kitchen renovated by Top of the Line Building and Design, and the entire experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the very first consultation to the final walkthrough, Drew’s team was reliable, knowledgeable, and incredibly respectful of our home and our time.

Their design insights helped us bring our vision to life while improving the functionality and flow of our space. Every detail, from cabinetry to countertops, was executed with precision and care. What really stood out was how well they communicated throughout the project—always keeping us informed, answering every question, and offering thoughtful solutions along the way.

The crew showed up when they said they would, kept the worksite clean, and treated our home as if it were their own. That level of professionalism is hard to find these days.

Completed extensive renovations including installing new hardwood flooring, new doors and trim/baseboards, and painting throughout whole house. Also complete kitchen reno and major renovation to a bedroom and laundry room (and several other smaller jobs). Due to the extensive amount of work, the job took several months to complete. Drew and his team were responsive, transparent, and professional in completing the work. The work was completed on time and budget and he was flexible in accommodating changes along the way. Subcontractors were skilled and professional. Minor conflicts, when they arose, were handled to our satisfaction. The final craftsmanship was of excellent quality and we are thrilled with our "new home." Most important to us, Drew is highly trustworthy and truly cares about his work... We would absolutely hire TOTL again and recommend to others.

We’ve had the pleasure of working with Drew and TOTL Building and Design on three major home renovations so far, and every project has been executed with exceptional quality, professionalism, and attention to detail. We’re now gearing up for our fourth and final renovation – our kitchen – and wouldn’t trust anyone else to handle it.

Drew is dependable, punctual, and transparent in all aspects of the work. His communication is excellent, and he provides fair pricing with no surprises when the final invoice comes through.

Here’s what TOTL has completed or facilitated for us over the years:

Spring 2019 – Basement Renovation:
• Built a brand-new full bathroom, laundry room, and gym
• Installed new flooring, trim, and paint in the rec room and bedroom
• Built custom storage cupboards in both the laundry room and gym
• Completed an emergency water main replacement without missing a beat

Fall 2019 – Main Floor and Garden Renovation:
• Updated the main floor with fresh paint, trim, flooring, carpet, new interior doors and door knobs, and new light fixtures
• Installed a custom glass and wrought iron front door with sidelights, and new door handle
• Added a new garage door, and built a storage loft in the garage
• Poured a custom oversized concrete patio in the back garden – we even got to choose the color!
• Added Allan block garden beds and referred us to a great landscaper and an expert arborist
• Built a cat walk on the staircase so our cats can access the shelf over the stairs – a creative touch that we (and the cats!) love

2023 – Exterior Renovation:
• Installed Hardy board siding, new soffits, and trim
• Replaced decorative bricks with modern stack stone
• Upgraded exterior lights and added modern soffit lighting
• Removed the old satellite dish and window awnings for a cleaner, updated look
• Replaced all windows, and created a back door for the kitchen that was previously a window
• Installed a custom-made address sign and numbers
• Referred us to a fantastic custom patio cover installer
