We were lucky enough to find and purchase a Montera home 3 years ago(second owner),built in 2016.Fast forward to 3 weeks ago and found a leak with our roof overhang,called numerous(3) local roofers and got the old run around and ghosting.Out of frustration I reached out to Montera to see if they could recommend someone.Amazingly they swung into action and we had a roofer that very day,who sorted our problem.Absolutely amazing service,we love our home that Montera built and couldn’t recommend them enough,special thank you to Jared for the follow up and being on point.Thank you again John Beacom

Hello Garry and the Monterra teamJust a thank you. We have been in our new home since May of 2022. 3256 Majestic Drive.We moved from beautiful Seal Bay where we raised our three boys from 1975 to adult hood.It was just getting too much for us to keep up. And just in time as my husband was diagnosed with that horrible disease, Alzheimers.The lot and garden plan you chose is so very ideal. Low upkeep (we are still able to do our own yard work etc.) and it is close to all of the amenities.The contract was in such impeccable detail (the products, the cost, the consultation) nothing was a surprise.It was all in black and white.For the house plan it must have intuited what we as seniors needed. Because there isn’t a day goes by without me feeling grateful and satisfied we chose Monterra as our contractors.It seemed our needs were known.I entertain friends and family regularly and do my own house work etc. and the ease of the up keep is never a problem because of the choice of the layout.I think I can/will keep up for many more years to come.Going over the plan, Garry was always receptive to changes that I suggested. For example we were able to add extra cupboard space in the laundry room for our linens, towels etc.When I suggested spending less on closet racks and storage he made it clear I would not be unhappy with what was chosen even though more expensive. He was right and I thank him for that.The sky light in the suite adds to the decor beautifully and the extra large patio facing the 8th freeway makes it so easy to entertain our friends, kids and grandkids with meals and activities.I love this home. It suits us beautifully for our life style and we would not mind showing it, if interested.My driveway and the patio were just power washed this July 2025. I asked Monterra about doing the sealing. They responded promptly. Garry sent Jared, his son, to give a quote.Also, when roof tiles were damaged by golf balls I emailed Monterra and they gave me a contact person to call. I was called and the damage was fixed in a very short time for a very small cost.We are very thankful we chose Monterra as our contractors. After years of planning, designing and looking for the perfect piece of vacant property we started the search for a builder. After consulting with a few local companies we chose Monterra West Homes as their style and personality was the perfect match to ours. The entire process from our initial consultation right down to receiving the keys upon completion was positive. Garry Renkema and his entire team delivered an end product that we are very proud of. Our project manager Calvin’s attention to detail was second to none. No detail was over looked throughout the entire build.
