This is the first time I hired a contractor and overall it was a positive experience. We like the phased approach to payment, which does not require large up front payment. You pay as they go. We ended up having to remove a lot more ledge (rock) than anticipated, making us fearful of the extra cost, but EDM was very reasonable with these charges.
