Windmiller Design Build

We could not be more pleased with our new home built by Windmiller Design Build. Everything from lot selection, design, lot layout, construction, finish work to move in went ahead of schedule and as planned. The quality of the work is excellent. We highly recommend Ryan Windmiller and his team at Windmiller Design Build! Great people working for a great company. Lee Youngberg

We highly recommend Windmiller. They made the home design and build process very easy to understand and follow. Our custom home was finished two weeks ahead of schedule and on budget. What made them stand out to us was their professionalism. Every phase was very well organized. The design phase was thorough and construction did not begin until the design was finished. This helped minimize change orders and kept the project moving on time. Their client portal made approving purchase orders very efficient. The warranty phase was not rushed and completed on time. Despite having a project manager, designer and draftsman in house, Ryan Windmiller was always a phone call away. We would build with them again in an instant.

We have built 2 homes, one with Windmiller & our experience with them was exceptional. From the design phase, to the actual build, to the punch list after we moved in was thorough, communicative & timely. The team was knowledgeable & helpful when we had questions & concerns. They have high attention to detail & we highly recommend using Windmiller to build a home.

We have built 3 homes in 3 different parts of the country. The experience with Windmiller was far superior to the other two builds. The planning process and communication with the staff is excellent. A project plan is created and they make sure they follow the plan and hold the subcontractors to the plan. Our house was ready within a few days of the original plan. The beautiful home designs and attention to detail that Windmiller creates are second to none. Another impressive aspect to building with them is the design of their neighbors. The streets are laid out with winding roads and green space, not just tracks that are laid out in squares. The follow-up after the sales is great. We had a problem with our flooring and they worked with the manufacturer and supplier to get the issued resolved to our satisfaction. They may be slightly higher in price but after building 3 homes it’s well worth it. If we move back to the Quad Cities we would either look for a house built by Windmiller or build with them again!
