We recently underwent a significant expansion and had the pleasure of working with Rohit at Bali Brothers Construction. His commitment to always staying in communication and his obvious passion for making the experience of renovating our space as stress-free as possible was a true game-changer. If ever we had any concerns, they were always addressed with the utmost professionalism and in a timely manner. Accountability is definitely the sign of a great general contractor... not that nothing ever went wrong, but that when things didn't go quite as anticipated they were quick to find solutions to remedy the situation rather than to ignore the issue (or worse yet to suddenly be unreachable!). Rohit and his team came through at every turn and made the entire process very positive. I would highly recommend Bali Brothers for any project, large or small. They definitely seem to treat each job like they're there as a friend to help get the best result possible.

The Bali Brothers made the transition into our new home a seamless move. We needed support on a few details that we wanted to address prior to moving in and the team executed the suggestions from our home inspection flawlessly.

All the questions that we had with regards to methodology and how best to approach certain procedures was handled with care and detail. Coordinating times and availability was very convenient with Rohit and his team, he always makes sure to prep them ahead of time so once they're on site, it's straight to business. Rohit and his team are very good at ensuring you feel listened to, recommending additional tweeks to the project based on your preferences and ensuring the project runs smoothly.

We sincerely felt that the Bali Brothers Construction value of treating every home/build as if it were their own rang true. They reviewed and walked through the building noting any deficiency and having it corrected before our deficiency walkthrough. They also communicated well with the neighbours as we had a few access issues to the back of the property where the secondary suite was being built. Lastly, they did a great job in ensuring the home business could continue during construction, working within the constraints and limitations that related to that and still getting the project completed within the projected timeline.

We also felt that the quality of workmanship and quality of goods used in the build were top-notch. We are very happy with the end product.

Specifics:

Bali Brothers Construction Ltd. built a one-level 3 bedroom 2 bathroom legal secondary suite attached to the principal residence. The principal residence is owned by my in-laws and we live in the secondary suite. It was our effort to be able to live comfortably and within our means in the lower mainland. We are eternally grateful for the opportunity our family has provided us in allowing us to build on and occupy their land.

Timeline: March 2023- October 2024

There were two phases to our project:
Phase 1: Feasibility Analysis (Mar-Sep’23)
Included (but was not limited to): Arborist Report; Structural plans/drawings; Architectural Plans, Topographic/land survey; Communications with Fraser Health to ensure the home business could continue and still met with the criteria for the business based on above reports.

Phase 2: Permits & Build (Sep’23-Oct’24)
Permit submission and approval timing: Sep’23-Feb’24
Build timing: Mar’24-Oct’24

They built a wonderful dream home for us. The entire team was a pleasure to work with, especially the owner & project manager, Rohit. He kept us informed every step of the way and promptly addressed our questions or concerns, he treated our home as if it was his own. This is our second experience with Bali Brothers Construction and once again they exceeded our expectations. We designed a landscape project and our yard came out exactly as we planned. Their quote was a little higher than the other two but it was so detailed that we knew that the project would be done the way we wanted. There were no upcharges and the quality of work was brilliant. The brothers came out to inspect the workmanship repeatedly and the project was done in a timely manner.

We look forward to working with them again on a few indoor projects next.
