My wife and I met with Kari at the Hillsboro office. We had told her we were looking for home that would work for us as we downsize. We also told her that it would not be here in NC, but in GA. She was remarkable in helping us find a design and tweaking it to what my wife wanted. She was without a doubt the most capable home sales person we have ever dealt with. Highly recommend.
I had them build my house and the process lasted from 2024 to 2025. There was exceptional communication throughout the entire process, keeping me updated on the house as changes occurred. More specifically, the representatives (Mr. Nelson, Beverly, and Nick) went above and beyond with the communication. The house was built in a timely manner and was even completed 3 weeks before the expected end date. Alongside the communication and timely manner, America's home place demonstrated persistent patience and professionalism.
I start by saying no home builder will build you a perfect house. There will be problems that will appear. The reason I gave 5 stars is how Randy from AHP handled the problems that came up. This was my 3rd time having a house built the first with AHP. The one before this one was built with Ryan/NVR homes and trying to get them to repair things was such a hassle, I ended up making repairs myself. I would like to thank Randy and Pablo and his team for all they did to make sure all the problems were fixed. If I can acquire the property across the street from me I will use AHP again.
So my wife and I decided to build our home outside Hillsborough and America's Home Place was the perfect fit for us. We didn't want a cheep spec house that looks like any old subdivision and we cannot afford a custom craftsman build. The Hillsborough office was incredible from start to finish. They helped with all of our selections and we were able to construct a home that we are proud to call our own. It is built to last, has the upgrades we care about, and the finished product is just what we were hoping for. Christine was so helpful in making sure our selections would come out the way we wanted and Greg did a fantastic job keeping the sub contractors on schedule and things were completed in a reasonable time frame (also why we went with a national company to avoid supply chain issues). The few issues that have arisen after move in were promptly delt with in a professional matter. The AHP Hillsborough team made the whole experince truly unforgettable and was as stress free as possible.
