LZ Construction Design/Build Remodeling

LZ built my ADU in 2023. Working with them went very well. They stuck to contract price even when unexpected snags occurred. In my case they wanted to tie into the house sewer in my garage but when unexpected piping was found in the slab they rerouted the sewer pipe. All this was done with no extra charge. I did do contract mods as I realized opportunities to improve the design and their pricing for the changes were very reasonable. I lived in my house as the ADU was built so I saw it every day. I had questions/comments on how things were done but working with the project manager Gary we came to acceptable resolutions. The materials/ workmanship/ appliances/ cabinets that LZ provided have all held up. I was real happy with how the project turned out overall. I was especially happy how they blended the ADU connection to my main house and how the noise suppression between the ADU and main house they provided (costed upfront in the contract) has turned out.

My mother first hired LZ Construction almost 20 years ago for a kitchen add-on remodel. We were immediately impressed with the design of the kitchen, quality cabinetry and countertops, and the overall professional work, which LZ Construction provided. The kitchen has truly withstood the test of time, along with many parties and celebrations and still looks fantastic! LZ Construction was rehired two years ago for a complete master bathroom remodel. Many of the same workers were still with the company and remembered working the kitchen remodel. LZ‘s construction team are highly professional, on time, problem solved with minimal issues, and completed the work on time. They were always available to answer any questions I had, and helped me design a truly beautiful bathroom! It is rare to find companies who value trust and provide quality services to the high level of work which LZ provides. LZ Construction is one of those companies who I would highly recommend for any home remodeling job.

We used LZ to add on a full master suite onto the back of our house. They listened to our must-haves and wants and designed an amazing space for us. Our master bedroom is now our oasis complete with a huge walk-in closet. It was easy because they dealt with the architectural plans and permits. The contract was easy to understand and laid out a logical payment plan as work was completed. They answered all our questions whenever they came up. Michael and Richard were great to work with and never hesitated to come out and check on things.

We are a private school and over the past 5 plus years have engaged LZ on a number of projects from those in the 6-figure range to the smallest service call. They have never failed to be extremely fair in pricing, and more importantly back up all their work. In addition they always return calls in a timely manner, and if needed assign a project manager who is attentive, responsive, and knowledgeable. They more than earn 5 stars!!
