first meeting with Mitch to the endless check ins with Michelle and the team, this was a great experience. They go above and beyond to make sure you are getting exactly what you want in your dream home. They give you freedom and find solutions to all your specific needs…like not wanting quarter round trim. They supported all my needy requests. Not only are they an exceptional business, but they are just outstanding people. We didn’t just get our dream home, but we got bonus friendships along the way. We have been in our home for almost two years now and still love it! Highly recommend these wonderful people.

First off, the best experience! I couldn't believe how quickly our home went up. We were able to watch the entire building process, and if there was something we didn't like, they changed it for us-of course, with reasonable requests. This is a professional home builder.
Mitch is a native of Enterprise, and his family has owned this business for generations.
I also developed a friendship with Michelle and Mitch, who go out of their way for their customers, even dealing with some difficult ones who can be rude and slanderous. Don't listen to the trolls below! Thank you for everything, Craftway Homes! ??????

When we went looking for a house to buy I found one in New Brockton, AL. It was beautiful, but not what I was looking for. The realtor asked me if we wanted to meet the builder and we said yes.

We met up with Mitch Gilley the very next morning. We told him what we were looking for and Mitch went out of his way to show us all of the available lots he had and several nice floor plans of homes.

We like what he showed us but had other plans in mind and brought a plan to him and he worked with us to change it up and made it perfect.

The build process was awesome! Of course it was hectic and I probably drove Michelle crazy with all of my nitpicking of little things, but she was very accommodating and made sure I was happy.

The home was built in a respectable amount of time and have had really no issues at all. There’s always small things that you notice after being there a while, but everything we mentioned was fixed very quickly no questions asked. We couldn’t be happier.

There are some other reviews on here about Mitch and his business, but they do not truly represent what Mitch and Craftway Homes is all about. They are a wonderful family owned business and build quality homes. I couldn’t recommend them enough and I plan to have another home built by him on the lot behind us as soon as my son is ready to buy.

Building our home with Craftway Homes was such a great experience! From start to finish, their attention to detail was incredible. Every part of the process felt thoughtful and intentional, and the craftsmanship in the finished home shows it. One of the things we appreciated most was how they handled challenges. Anytime something came up, the team approached it with real problem-solving skills and made sure we understood the options. Their communication was always clear and honest, which gave us so much peace of mind throughout the build. We also loved the app they use to track progress. It kept us updated on where things stood, what was coming up next, and gave us an easy way to stay connected and informed. That tool made a huge difference in helping us feel part of the process even when we couldn’t be on-site.The project stayed on schedule, and the team was consistently timely and professional. I had constant communication with Michelle who was our design coordinator. As far as Michelle goes, she is top notch and when I suggested something out of the ordinary for a backsplash, she explained that it had never been done. She talked with the guy at Enterprise wholesale and he said it was possible and the results were beyond what I was expecting and she agreed. Had a couple minor issues and she had them addressed at once and she really listened to our needs. Also, I did request electrical at the front edge of the front yard for low voltage lighting and that was also carried out, not to mention Craftway helped negotiate a shop installation on my property which was done very professionally and at a fair price. A few months after moving in, we encountered a problem with our threshold, and Craftway sent someone to take care of it within 2 days. Lastly, one of the valves in the sprinkler system began leaking and it was determined the valve was defective, so the valve was ordered and replaced within a week! We love our house and are so glad we went with Craftway. As a matter of fact, because of our experience, we purchased another lot which we plan on building on, using Craftway of course, in the near future
