We met Matt in 2020, just weeks prior to the COVID lock downs, to remodel and reconfigure our main living space of our house. Even with a mandated pause in all construction for a few weeks, they more than made up on the timeline to get the project completed, without risking quality. Their work was top notch and Matt, and everyone else, was a pleasure to work with. We have a custom home build coming up soon and Motor City Builders was the first company I thought of to take on the task. Highly recommend!

shows. Matts foreman, Mike, has been with the company 32yrs, very impressive! We hired Motor City Builders in March of this year for a major roof/upper level rebuild of our our Cape
home changing the pitch and adding an 8ft x 40ft porch. Mike and his crew arrived every morning on time, like clock work. March weather was very unpredictable and opening up the top of the house to the elements caused concern. However foreman Mike had a weather workaround plan. They built the new 10/12 pitch roof structure right over the existing roof. Once the new structure was weather sealed they went inside and dismantled the old structure. BRILLIANT! Removing entire the upper level created huge amounts of debris. Some days it looked as if a tornado had hit the house but at the end of every day without fail Mike and his crew cleaned up and swept up everything. When they left it looked as if they were never there. My wife loved this and was very impressed. They did this every day without fail.
Matt and the entire Motor City Builder crew were professional, friendly, great to work with and their work ethic was obvious. Their experience, attention to detail and work quality was obvious from beginning to end. We clearly made the right choice in hiring Motor City Builders and would do it again. We are 110% satisfied with the work Matt and his crew from Motor City Builders did on our home. Thank you Matt. We contracted MCB to build our dream home after retiring from the Navy, it was time to put roots back home!

Having never built a home before I went in apprehensive and skeptical with a good amount of horror stories from friends and family of the process.

We made sure to have a good size set aside for the inevitable price change or mishap. With all that said, our home was finished in a little over 9 months! Matt and his team worked with every possible delay and mistake to keep the project on track and within budget. Even with us changing "small" details on the plans, like adding a sunroom!

It has been about 8 months since the project was finished and we are absolutely happy with how everything turned out! If you are in need of a new build or remod, I strongly encourage you to give Matt a call. His team will treat your project like their own! Especially Dan and Tadd! Kinda sad they won't be around the project anymore.
