If I could rate a zero I would. Kelley the sales person committed to me "I give you my word and my word is golden" then pulled the carpet from under us. If she tells you that-run! We spent over a month working on our loan and contract to finalize the deal. We could have closed within a few weeks on the deal and at the last minute as we are waiting for the final contract, the owner Bill decides to not move forward. The home was priced at over $1.5 m. He complained about costs going up and said they had to reevaluate their price. In fact he said our cost would go up over $100k. We had a contract in hand that required a few tweaks which they agreed to make and send to us then they pulled it. Their project manager told us one thing then Kelley told us another. They are one company, why different answers. I would not recommend doing business with this company as they are not honest. And after my post their response is the same baloney they gave us. Yes it was in their best interest to make more money when other homes being built listed for more than they dropped us after fully committed for over a month. This Kelly lied to us and the owner didn’t make it right. Very bad business.
We have known and trusted Bill and his company with our homes for over 20 years. He is a man of his word and goes above and beyond to deliver the best product and value available.We also have high regard for his staff-particularly Andrew, who is always there to see that things are running smoothly in the field during construction. Unfortunately, in today's building environment, that is more difficult than ever. With constantly increasing labor and supply shortages and escalating costs, it is almost impossible to keep to a schedule or cost estimate. I see this every time I go to the food store or fill up with gas.If and when we choose to build another home, there is NO DOUBT that it will be with Florida Lifestyle Homes!Eva Freeman
We have dealt with Florida Lifestyle Homes in the past. We are now ready to build and they are the company we wanted to build our home. Unfortunately they are unable to build on the east coast of Florida. I spoke to Kelley on the phone and she could not have been kinder!! Although they don’t build on the east coast, she has helped us immensely! We “only” wish she was our salesperson and Florida Lifestyles could build our house. Life would go a lot smoother. Florida Lifestyle built our home in Quail West and the process went amazing. We also had THE best Superintendent, Andrew. Him and Rhonda are the dream team, and now we have our dream home. Thank y’all for everything.
