Scott at New Urban Homes was amazing to work with and did an exceptional job on the exterior of our home! He is incredibly knowledgeable about the building process and specifically about how the cedar needed to be applied to our mid-century home to ensure that it not only looked amazing, but that it was also done properly (sanding all sides, staining in a controlled environment and ensuring the proper water barrier was applied). Additionally, he was transparent with respect to the pricing and overall timeline. Scott was always available to answer any of our questions and provide guidance on our project. He is a builder that has integrity and that we absolutely trusted to do the job right. Additionally, Jake, his project manager did a great job proactively communicating the project timeline and keeping us informed of any changes. He communicated early, often and transparently with respect to all updates. We would highly recommend Scott and his team. I love their honesty, industry knowledge and expertise to guide you in the right direction from the beginning all the way to move-in day. Scott has built a rock solid team that I would entrust any size project to. The bonus is their friendly demeanor, non-contentious process. Again, very difficult to find these days, but New Urban is a 5 Star, A+ business!

I built with Scott almost 10 years ago. He was a pleasure to work with and his work has endured the test of time!!! both from a construction -utility point of view but also style. After living in the house 10 years, I am amazed at the amount of great decisions he led us through! It was a great partnership in the build, and he never lost sight of providing our family the House WE Wanted..not that he wanted to build! If we ever build in Michigan again..it will be with Scott!
