Journey Homes/J&J Construction have been great to work with so far. Heather at Journey Homes helped with our closing, went to bat when the lender was dragging their feet, professional, direct, polite, had here dates and numbers together, has offered help outside of closing with any issues in the new house...can't say enough about how impressed and thankful we are for all their help!!Pretty amazing experience with Journey Homes AND J&J Construction...we had a window issue and they were on it like that day...no questions asked, came straight over and got the window secured. Answered any questions we had and went on about the day...Thank you for all your help!!
Heather Cantrell was amazing on closing day! We would still be waiting to close if it had not been for her tenacity and hard work! Journey homes and J&J construction have been extremely responsive to all our questions. Even minor issues with the house have been addressed immediately and we moved in on New Year’s Day. We didn’t have to wait long for someone to show up.
I highly recommend Journey Homes if your looking to buy a new home. We had an amazing experience with everyone on their team. We went under contract with a home & throughout the entire process they were very responsive fixing any little item we found in the inspection. We had a very thorough 3rd party inspector & even though there was nothing significantly wrong from the inspection report, the builders were very quick to respond & then correct things. The super joined us for our walk-through to ensure they got all our requests acknowledged & then corrected. He even came back with us the day of closing to confirm everything was completed & to ensure we were happy with the results. They stand by their work with giving a 1yr whole house warranty which truly made us more comfortable in purchasing one of their new build homes. My niece also bought a home in the same neighborhood several months ago & she had missed being a small thing or 2 in her inspection prior to closing. She filed a claim online with the home warranty & they immediately sent someone out to repair. They eased many our my gears in buying a new home & had a great team of people to help throughout the entire process to ensure things went smoothly with our purchase. From start to finish everyone at Journey Homes was amazing, we highly recommend them if you are searching to buy a new home!!
Definitely do not recommend Journey Homes due to the concrete. Spent over a year fighting to get them to replace my back patio due to poor craftmanship. Once they finally replaced it, they completely tore up my lawn and never came back. They never fixed the landscaping or siding they broke. Very unprofessional. Journey representative Brian never followed up. See the attached pictures of our less than 3 year old failed front porch we will have to pay for now and they admitted it was faulty at purchase. Buyer beware. Their concrete work is terrible. And so are their promises.Been a contractor for over 30 years and have never seen such bad work. More pics available.
