Bay Area Homes

In Spring of 2024 we toured the lot and liked the Let It Be model from Clayton.
One thing I wish we could have done was make a few changes to the home such as a sliding door for the back, adding an extra sink to the main bathroom, swapping door styles etc. This model didn't allow much customization besides color choice on the cabinets and counter tops.
We had MANY questions and all were answered quickly. Kaitlyn, Meg and Rick were all very helpful throughout the process. They truly make sure everything is planned perfectly. They helped us with so many aspects in regards to financing with our bank, insurance, questions with our contractors, etc. We were outside of their regular service area so we had to either choose a GC closer to us or become our own GC. We chose the latter. Feb 2025 we finally were able to move in!! It took approximately 9 months from start to finish to move in. We learned a lot along the way. Upon move in day, Meg and Rick were there to help our finishing guy, Jeff finish up so we could move in. It was impressive to see them come together to get it finished.

Meg was wonderful in spotting items that needed to be repaired. Those were taken care of about a month or so following our move in date.

We are still waiting for the Clayton team to come out and do the bigger repairs....that may be a separate review for them specifically. So far, no complaints or good reviews with them because we haven't dealt with them yet. Will update afterwards!

After going through the tragedy of a house fire me and my wife decided to buy a modular home we searched around and found a model we both liked at Bay Area and was I glad we did it was a new experience for us and not planned but Meg and Kaitlyn made it much easier explaining things and answering any and all questions they were great to deal with, there crew was good and very fast getting everything set once the weather made up its mind, would recommend them to anyone in search of a home

After a couple years of searching and planning we found our dream home at Bay Area Homes! Rick, Meg, Katelyn and team are the most amazing, friendly, fun, open, honest, caring, timely, organized group ever. We can't say enough good things about the service. We gave them our wish list and they came through with every detail!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with this company. The house is beautiful and was fantastically constructed. Mitch was wonderful, super friendly and a joy to work with. Meg is an absolute God send. Super knowledgeable and eager to help. Use this company to construct your forever home. You won't regret it!
