We went through the custom build process for the first time with Compendium and had an overall great experience. They are organized, communicate well, and ultimately finished our house on time and on budget. Whenever we had an issue or a question Mike, Micah and Tatum were readily available to answer questions and make things right. I spent A LOT of time walking the build site throughout the process and their team was always happy to answer questions and/or address any concerns.We have lived in our new house for about 6 months now and have been very happy with the build quality and attention to detail. Wonderful local builder and even better people behind the scenes!We had bought a Compendium built home from the original homeowner who had lived there 3 years previously and lived there for another 5 wonderful years without any real issues. As we were planning a family and knew we would eventually need more room, we purchased a lot a couple years before we moved and had plenty of time to vet multiple homebuilders. In our meetings with Compendium, they immediately stood out to us with their very genuine approach, beautiful design ideas and enthusiasm to help us incorporate our ideas into our design. In vetting them further, they had amazing referrals from previous clients and also offered the ability to tour current and past projects they had done, and both times their quality of craftsmanship stood out. Micah and Tatum have also both been president of BAGI (Builders Association of Indiana) and are very well respected in our community. This was all very reassuring to us that Compendium was the right choice to build our dream home.We have now been in our new home for 2 months and I cannot say enough about our experience. Micah, Tatum, our project manager Mike and their entire team continually went above and beyond to accommodate our very difficult schedules, make changes on the fly per our requests and remedy any issues along the way and post move in. They also maintained our budget without any surprises at the end and would have hit their projected timeline had we not slowed things down with our numerous changes. Working with Compendium was the best decision we ever made.The build process of our downtown home was on time, on budget and well executed. There's no such thing as a perfect build, but it was pretty darn close. We've been in our new home for about 9 months and only had a handful of small punch-list items. They are quickly and professionally solved with minimal fanfare.It's worth noting that project foreman, Mike G, is the unsung hero of keeping things moving. He's always available to make things right; and with a smile on his face.Their project management software keeps everyone on track and you can see, real-time, what trades are next, how your finances are coming along and what decisions need to be made.
