We worked with John over a three-year period to develop an overgrown lot with a dilapidated waterfront.   From the first day to the last day, we never once doubted John's passion and commitment to quality.  He leveraged numerous third-party relationships to deliver on our vision.  From the waterfront bulkhead, the dock, the landscaping to the house, the finished product is beautiful and exudes a level of quality that only a high attention to detail can deliver.  On top of that John stands by his work and continued to follow up on issues we ran into well after our move in date.  We feel very fortunate and proud to call this new property our home!

We built our three-story home on the beach with JMC just as COVID began—broke ground March 1, 2020, and two weeks later the world shut down. Despite every challenge imaginable, John Cherveny and his team kept their promise and delivered our home in a timely manner, without ever compromising on quality.

This was my first custom build, and JMC made the process manageable, working with trusted partners and helpful contractors throughout. Our home was built exceptionally strong—while many others in the neighborhood prioritized speed over craftsmanship, JMC’s attention to detail and commitment to quality set them apart.

Four years later, JMC continues to stand behind their work, promptly and professionally addressing any minor issues that arise. That kind of long-term care and accountability says a lot about a builder, and we’re grateful for the above-and-beyond service they continue to provide.

Structurally, I feel ours is one of the most solid homes in the neighborhood. We’ve been in the house going on 5 years and from the construction, to the fit and finish, things are holding up fantastic.
John Cheverney stands by his work…years after our warrantee would have expired, we let him know of an issue we had, and he had his guys come in and fix the issue definitively in the most comprehensive manner.
I have a busy dental practice, and having peace of mind that John and his guys take care of any issues, takes worrying about things like repairs off my plate, so that I can focus on my own business.

We have had best experience with John Cherveny owner and operator of JMC. We built during time of national crisis, Covid. John went above and beyond the standard builder/contractor. He extended himself and his team in a trying time and provided much needed support and guidance to us. John is a thorough professional. He has a keen eye for obvious challenges and his experiences also anticipate potential issues which he can address to prevent downstream ones. He helped us implement our Architectural plans and added insights where he might make slight changes or additions. He demolished the existing house, removed all debris, worked with all permitting and sight planning and prepared the same for construction. He used the highest qualified contractors for the entire build. Some of which we can call on even after two years of occupancy. We live in a unique and beautiful setting in Harbour Ridge. This home exceeds all of our others and is of the highest quality and configuration we have built. John calls us periodically and has stopped by to see if we needed anything from paint to stucco, roofing to cabinetry. He notices small things and immediately engages contractors. he has even come over to oversee work on projects unrelated to the initial construction. We cannot say enough about John and JMC.
