Chamberlain Builders

3 years ago, we made the decision to move from Vancouver to Summerland and build our dream retirement home. We chose to build in Hunter’s Hill development and began to interview recommended builders. A friend who is an interior designer gave us one piece of advice when we started looking for a builder: “Choose a builder who will build in the style of home you would like to live in”. As soon as we walked into Brandon and Marina Chamberlain’s home (office), we saw first hand a modern home design that we loved. As we viewed other projects that they had recently completed, we realized that they were a team who built in many styles; modern, contemporary, traditional and no matter what the style, the end result was always beautiful. We were always so impressed with each of their past home builds. Brandon and Marina have an excellent working reputation with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and local businesses. No matter who we asked, they were well respected in the industry. With all their past custom home experience, they were great planners, scheduling subtrades and Brandon’s crew, and the flow of work was constant. As a result, the house was built on time and on budget. As it was our first time building a custom home, we sometimes asked them to change something mid build, or add extra’s after plans were finalized. If they could accommodate us, they would. Brandon and Marina had a balanced approach to guiding us and they found ways of finding cost savings without compromising quality. And most importantly, there was always discussion and consolation prior to making changes. We had a running account of our budget which gave us peace of mind. Brandon only builds quality and takes great pride in his work. If he was not happy with something, he would ask the trades to redo it. He never settled for sub standard work. We’ve been in our home one year now and we experience how well built our home is every day. If there is ever a small adjustment to be made (as there always is in a new build), he is on hand right away and it is fixed. No questions. Only customer satisfaction. Marina is the behind-the-scenes organizer that give’s life to their projects. She was invaluable to us when it came to offering design ideas, choosing fixtures, lighting, cabinets, colours, flooring, tiles…the list of design choices was never ending. But at each point in the schedule when it came time to ordering, she was there to guide us. Marina is professional, patient, and thoughtful, with a talent for design. She listened to our ideas, offered not one but often additional alternate suggestions, and then would allow us to make final decisions. As a result, our home is stunning and everyone who sees it agrees. We would highly recommend Chamberlain Builders to anyone who asked. They are a great team and we are so happy we chose them to build our home!

Building our retirement home at Hunters Hill in Summerland, BC. We have been very pleased with our business partnership with Chamberlain Builders. After interviewing three home building companies, my wife and I had no difficulty selecting Brandon and Marina Chamberlain to build our home. Chamberlain was one of the builders recommended to us by Hunters Hill development. Our meetings with Brandon and Marina were very informative about their building process and we could see right from the beginning their commitment and passion about home building. Each stage of our home building was well explained to us and they kept us informed on the construction progress. We were also impressed with the professionalism of their construction team and the quality of their sub contractors. We have now been in our home for one year and we can say that we really appreciate the quality of our home. We have no hesitation in recommending Chamberlain Builders. A matter of fact is, that friends of ours upon our recommendation are currently building their home with Chamberlain. Thank you again Brandon and Marina for all your hard work.

We are so pleased we built our new home with Chamberlain Builders! Marina listened and incorporated our ideas, allowed us to integrate some of our own elements, and kept communication clear, honest, respectful, and timely. With their many years of building experience, we felt confident in Marina and Brandon's recommendations and decision-making made on our behalf. The process from start to finish was smooth, enjoyable, and on-budget. When faced with one supplier's failure, Chamberlain Builders were quick to secure new product from another supplier to ensure the build remained on schedule and on budget. Our home is everything we dreamed of and more, thanks to Chamberlain Builders!

Brandon and Marina helped design, permit and build our small but stunning property in Penticton while we stayed in Vancouver. They guided us on every step of the process, helped with design choices and have completely coordinated everything remotely and moved us in this awesome summer house. Its been almost a year since and they have been supper supporting and responsive on all the questions and follow-ups we had. Building a house remotely quickly and on budget would not have been possible without them, and you can bet we will be reaching out to them for our future building needs.
