UPDATED review: Our initial experience with this sales team was great. Colleen was responsive, kind and communicative. Once we went under contract to build our home is when issues began. Our home took about 6 months longer than promised to be built, and once in the home we experienced severe issues with the craftsmanship not limited to stone work falling off the front of the home, poor irrigation causing erosion, kitchen cabinets falling off the wall, failing closet systems, and more. All issues and blame was often passed off to the contractors in which Kerley employed to build the home. With every new home, issues are expected as perfection is not achievable. The issues we experienced were outside of what could be excused as normal, despite being expected to accept it as the status quo. All issues were eventually addressed by Kerley, but not without a year's worth of contractor appointments, missed contractor appointments, calls, emails, texts, and a lot of stress. In our case, to get the home we were promised and in the condition promised, took a lot of work on our end to fight for.

I'm a real estate agent in the Atlanta area, and I just sold 2 homes in this beautiful neighborhood, Entrenchment Hill. The first house I sold was in July 2022, and clients were extremely happy with their purchase. I recently went under contract on the second home in January 2023. My clients are so excited, and can't wait to move in. For both contracts, I worked with Colleen Van Vliet. She's amazing. She responds on time to questions, and extremely proficient. Even on her days off, she'll still pick up one's call. My experience with working with her the first time is one of the reasons I brought my other clients to Entrenchment Hill. A big shout out to her assistant as well. Her name is Mell. These 2 ladies are amazing. If I have other clients looking in the Kennesaw area, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Entrenchment Hill by Kerley Family Homes.
