We recently worked with Wolfborn on a cabin conversion project, and the experience was nothing short of excellent. From start to finish, their team was ethical, efficient, and incredibly hardworking. They were reliable, flexible, and truly listened to our goals—offering thoughtful advice and helping us stay on budget without cutting corners. This is a small, family-run business with a big heart. Not only do they take pride in their craftsmanship, but they also give back to the community in meaningful ways. It’s clear they care deeply about the work they do and the people they serve. We couldn’t be happier with how the project turned out and would absolutely work with them again. Highly recommend!
The attention to detail and craftsmanship of Wolfborn Builders is exemplary. This is a family run business that provides incredible service. If you want something done right the first time, I’d recommend going with them.
Kevin did an amazing job at building our mud room addition. He and his staff were very professional and knowledgeable and the communication was clear and easy. All was done in a timely manner and we are very happy with the results!
Posting this to hopefully save another homeowner the same headaches, cost, and disruption. They did sub-par work on our whole house renovation, and after pushing for full payment ahead of milestones we were pretty much ignored. There were major issues like our bathroom venting into our attic (see video) that were left to sit for months at a time. Their electrical work also failed inspection, and we had to find our own electrician despite the work being in scope, which they agreed to pay for, then didn't.But don't take my word for it, ask for a reference. Or judge their integrity by the fact that their top 5 star review is fake, posted by the company (Sahar is listed as President of Wolfborn Builders LLC, which you can easily verify)
We contracted with Wolfborn Builders to execute a whole-house remodel on our 'forever home.' The experience started out well. There were some very nice and competent folks on this crew—we even referred Wolfborn to another project in our town. But as time went on, it became increasingly difficult to contact the GC, Kevin McGonigle, as well as obvious that our project wasn't a priority. The estimated project timeline was one year, beginning in October 2023. Though there was still substantial finishing work ahead in September 2024, we were pressed to make our final payment in order to continue. In December 2024, all parties agreed to an in-scope punch list; it took until July 2025 to complete most items on that list, at which point we gave up asking them to make things right. We also needed to re-purchase lost materials and redo faulty plumbing as well electrical work whenWolfborn’s work failed to meet code requirements necessary to close out our permit. If we had to do it over again, we would have worked with another builder.
