Update 10/13/2025:The A/C has been repaired and is running good so far. Still a shame this was taken care of so poorly and unprofessional. Still awaiting an email with summary of service for my records.The buying process was great, and my family has enjoyed the home for a little over a year but... Now that a warranty claim has been input for the A/C not working properly, it has taken more than 3 months to get this issue resolved. I have been in contact with the representative in charge of dealing with claims in this area and the regional manager, both have apologized for issues with their staff. Apparently the first ticket submitted on July 1st was closed without hesitation and any outcome, no contact whatsoever. I sent 2 follow up emails and then someone finally contacted me that they would be able to send a technician a week out. Now a part has been ordered and still waiting for this to be installed and have our A/C repaired. I have been dealing with 80+ degrees inside for weeks now. Seems that it doesn't bother DR Horton to take care of claims appropriately for customers, especially when there are high temperatures here in TX.
