BUYERS BEWARE….sales process wonderful (go figure) any warranty issues…goodluck. I’ll be seeking an attorney next week. Do Not buy Dalamar Homes…they hope you give up hope and go away, but that’s not going to happen. Keep your word builders because at this point all they’ve done is lie and stall. Thank goodness I’ve kept a paper trail and all call/message logs. I’d give -0 stars if that was as option. Hamlet at Carothers Crossing…do not purchase here.
Rich Bartkowiak at Hamlet Estates and Hamlet at Carothers Crossing was incredibly knowledgeable and responsive, taking the time to explain every detail of the homes and making sure I felt comfortable at every step.
The warranty process is absolutely awful. I have had to email my request over 10 times. They just ignore it and hope you go away so you have to submit the same requests over and over. They avoid fixing their warranty issues at all costs. And of course when you submit a request you do not get a copy so when they said oh it’s past your 1 year, despite putting requests in for months so date all your entries.Issues I’ve had so far and some still not fixed: lights make a pop sound and you see sparks fly when turning lights off, bathtub leaking out the bottom of the tub, another tub didn’t have hot water because of the amount of debris behind the wall, garage has water leaking under the foundation and went up the wall and created mold, they fixed the water coming in but refused to fix the mold because it wasn’t their fault the mold was there (even though it took them 7 weeks to come out).The buying process was wonderful with the realtor and everything. After closing, it’s been a nightmare.
