After looking for a builder in the Leduc area, and evaluating their oldest builds (eg. 10 yr old homes), I decided to go with Sher-bilt. Speaking with the long standing owners of their homes I couldn't find one person who wasn't still thrilled with their home, and many of them (like myself) had built with various other builders who were not as impressive. By all accounts follow up service is excellent as well (not that I have any 1st hand knowledge). The owner Darell is VERY interactive in all builds, and the craftsmanship of a second generation home builder is easily found. Overall I say 10/10, which I don't just hand out lightly.

Its been just over a year in our new house and we could not be happier. As a young couple building our first home we were so relieved that we found Sher-Bilt. With their many years of experience and their committed and loyal tradespeople it made our building experience simple and easy which isn’t always something that goes hand in hand with building a new home. Sher-Bilt answered all of our emails, phone calls and text in a timely manner, nothing was ever too small for them to get back to us they really made us feel important. Even after our house was built they came back answered questions helped us through some new home bumps. My wife and I wanted to build a house that would meet our needs and align with our tastes. We spent over a year hunting high and low for a location to build and once we did we were on the hunt for someone to build our home. I interviewed several builders and short listed a couple that my wife and I then sat with; one of them being Homes by Sher-Bilt. I told Darell that I'm going to ask for things, just tell me what reality is and we will figure out where things land. We learned a lot from working with Holmes by Sher-Bilt. My wife and I planned how we were going to use the respective spaces and shared that vision with Darell and his trades and they helped us figure out how to best go about things. The insight from the trades and Darell really helped plug a lot of holes in the boat of which my wife and I never thought. Their electrician had some really nice insight on where to include lights and outlets that I feel I would now regret not having done. He even entertained some of our crazy ideas and helped find a way to make them a reality and still stay within code. I always appreciated that we could discuss something constructively and figure out a way to make things work. We get lots of complement on our home still today. I think what I love most though is their after possession support. Whenever I had questions I could be certain that I could reach out to Darell and his team and receive prompt responses back. A couple times they had to send someone out to look at things and get a better understanding of what I was trying to convey but whatever the case was I NEVER got the run around. Buying a house is probably the most expensive thing anyone will buy and knowing that the team that built the house are there for you after whenever you have a question really puts your mind at ease. If my wife and I ever decide to build again it will definitely be with Homes by Sher-Bilt.

Driving west on Back Gold Drive around 44St you will no doubt spot Alice’s Palace, a wheelchair-accessible duplex built by Sherbilt Homes. The curb appeal is stunning and speaks of the Extraordinary in every detail. Extraordinary is the best word that comes to mind in describing the experience we had with Sherbilt. From the design stage to the finishing touches Sherbilt's team has provided the kind of workmanship that goes beyond what we could have asked or imagined.
At first I approached the idea of building with much trepeditation. I had heard of numerous experiences where people had negative experiences with their builder and numerous regrets. Had it not been for the way Sherbilt worked WITH us at every stage of the building process , we too would have been a statistic. In contrast we are more than satisfied, with the quality of not only the final product, but the quality of working with a builder who demonstrates integrety throughout the entire process. Their customer-focus is demonstrated in their readiness to address any concerns even beyond possession date.
Sherbilt is a builder whose focus is on quality in both products and process. Through their expertise and commitment to excellence Sherbilt has shown themselves to be a quality custom builder guided by customer service and satisfaction. An Amazing Experience! Thank you.

We built our home this year (2017) with Sher-Bilt and I must say they were phenomenal to work with. They consistently exceeded our expectations, they kept us in the loop and informed on weekly if not daily basis. Our foreman Nathan, was always open to my wacky ideas and both he and Darell went the extra mile to make our dreams a reality. Even after the build has been completed they've been readily available for questions. I would build again hands down with these gentlemen. If could add photos to show all the little extras that were added to make our house a home, I would!
