TLDR;
If I were building a house again, I would first look for this builder.

Communication
Let me begin by saying I have trust issues with pretty much every business. From the very beginning I worked very diligently to figure out where they were going to take advantage of our lack of knowledge about home building. I asked A LOT of questions and they never seemed annoyed by them and provided useful answers. When they didn't know the answer, they were upfront that they didn't know, then found the answer and followed up with me.

Quality
The quality of construction was phenomenal. I don't know much about construction, but friends would tell me what to look for, and Inspired Homes always met or exceeded the quality building standards. In many cases they went far beyond the quality I expected. Little things that a typical homeowner would never notice or look at, they still did. I am very confident that I have a solid built house that will last several lifetimes.
One example that really impressed me about the work they do at Inspired Homes: When we were doing walkthrough at the end of the build process, we didn't like where the master bathroom light switch was. I accepted that I should have asked for that to be moved earlier in the process. We mentioned it to Mike and though that would be the end of it. When we returned, Mike had moved that light switch to a different wall (where we wanted it) and fixed the wall where it was. This was definitely not something he had to do, but he did and we were elated.

Options
I am not someone that wants to go to the hardware store and dig through hundreds of options for flooring, faucets, light fixtures, etc. At the design center, there were still dozens of options to choose from. And, the design consultant helped us choose the options that would work well together. Paint colors, cabinet colors, lighting, flooring, tile. With their help we have a house that looks like a million dollar house. The designers work hard to put together the options that will look great and function well.

After the Build
As with any new house there are inevitably little things that have an issue after moving in. They have been very responsive when we have issues. The issues gets fixed as soon as I expected it would. Then they follow up to make sure the issue is resolved and doesn't return.

Tips for a New Buyer
I have the Fairfield floor plan. I added an extra plug in the bedroom closet to be able top put equipment in there like the Google Fiber root node and a printer. We also added 2 floor plugs in the living room.
I wish I had also added an additional outlet in the master closet, and the master toilet room.

I went out to their model homes numerous times and the lady who works there does a wonderful job. She was able to let me see Other homes that were under construction. Nice development!
