Mike does a fabulous job and is very accommodating with his own team of contractors to get jobs done fast while producing top of market quality. We built a large custom home and were moved in 6 months faster than new constructions in our old neighborhood building smaller homes. He does a great job and I would highly recommend.

We cannot say enough about the remarkable experience we had building our dream home with Mike Kerwin Homes. From the very outset, it was evident that we were in capable hands, and the journey from concept to completion was nothing short of exceptional. The wealth of expertise that Mike brought to the table allowed us to create our ideal home without the fear of making a costly mistake. Mike, along with his site manager, Rob Jones, not only comprehended our vision but transformed it into a reality that exceeded our expectations. One particularly impressive facet of our collaboration with Mike was his network of subcontractors and vendors. Whether it was plumbing, lighting, painting, or landscaping, each professional we interacted with held Mike in the highest regard and displayed a commitment to delivering their best to our project. Please seek any other custom builder for your project! Mike Kerwin Homes is NOT my idea of a Custom Home Builder. Initially, I thought I would post a novel about this builder and the horrible experience we had building a multi-million dollar home in Serenity Equine Estates with this company. However, I changed my position as I do not want to dedicate any more minutes of my time to him and his company. Please know that this company is unprofessional and in my opinion, has an inadequate infrastructure to support a proper build of a custom home. It took over 2 years to build our home at a significant cost to our time, health, and sanity. Although we paid fees for project management /builder fee, Mike Kerwin Homes provided very little oversight of our project. Thank God we had jobs that allowed us the flexibility to oversee this builder and building process. Subcontractors would come to our house with little to no direction or supervision. Mike Kerwin Homes subcontractors damaged property and materials that we paid for at a premium. Mike Kerwin Homes even took our topsoil to use at Mike Kerwin's personal home without gaining permission in advance. Furthermore, Mike Kerwin Homes takes little to no responsibility for damage that was caused by its subcontractors and we had to be resilient, requiring the company to correct the damages. There is little attention to workmanship or quality control. As the owners, we had to act in our own best interest and point out the poor workmanship and quality and literally beg to have it corrected. I have a wealth of pictures and anecdotes that I can share with any potential consumer that is looking for a home builder. As the old adage goes, "I can show you better than I can tell you!" Recently, I see that Mike Kerwin Homes has posted pictures of our finished house on his Facebook page that I intend to issue responses to each of these photographs as he had NOTHING to do with the design or concept of our home. Also, review your financials carefully as he places charges that should not be present and when called out for it, he claims to know nothing about it. Moreover, check on your project as frequently as you can, like us, you may discover that they are using your new home as a work shop/paint shop, working on other client's projects in your new home! Moreover, his own subcontractors would reveal conditions of our home build that were never communicated to us and should have been.....so please communicate with the subcontractors, they are filled with a wealth of information! Yes, in the end we have a nice home, but the ordeal we went through with Mike Kerwin Homes soured our custom home-building experience and I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. We have built high-end custom homes in the past with other builders that had issues, but the builder was always collaborative, helpful, professional, empathetic and client driven..... a FAR different experience than with Mike Kerwin Homes. Please reach out to me if you need any specifics and I will happily defer you to a quality builder....but in my opinion, that is NOT Mike Kerwin Homes.
