I bought a house that Foreverhome flipped in SF a little over a year ago. During the open house, everything looked great. The house was fully remodeled so we purchased it thinking that very little work would be needed if anything. Oh how wrong we were. Over the last year, we have had problems with the plumbing, electrical, the appliances and the accessories and fittings. We have leaks coming from faulty instillation of pipes from the showers on two floors. At first, Forever Home helped out with some of the repairs. Once they saw how bad the work was done on the house, they stopped helping because it was cutting into their profits from this job. The work they did was so poor that the contractors, plumbers and electricians we had to hire to fix all of Foreverhome's work could not understand how they got the SF inspectors to sign off on the project.If you go to an open house in the SF Bay Area and see a Foreverhome sign, stay away or be prepared to throw $50K+ into repairing their remodel. That's the total that we are up to so far. 14 months after purchasing the house, we are still fixing the work that they did.
We needed to completely redo our upstairs bathrooms as well as updating upstairs carpeting, lighting, closet doors, etc. A friend recommended Foreverhome, and I'm so grateful they did! Some things I particularly liked about working with Foreverhome:*They did a great job showing us the possibilities with the space we had to work with.*They offered very personal service--accompanying us to tile and carpeting stores, for example.*They were great with recommendations, which helped keep choices of tiles and such from being overwhelming. If we wanted additional recommendations, they would quickly provide them.*They were extremely responsive to questions and concerns--we could text them and get very quick answers.*They never pushed us to spend extra money; in fact, they would suggest ways to do things less expensively.*They were always concerned that we were pleased with how things were going. They would stop by periodically to check on the work, note even the tiniest issues, and send people to fix them. They wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied with the work.*They were friendly and helpful and great to work with. Our remodel turned out beautiful and we are very happy with it.
