I'm actually more of a wood fence fan, they're like the original you know, more classic. But this time I wanted something different, I wasn't clear on what exactly so during the call to schedule the appointment I asked them to bring some samples of the materials and photos of previous work. Their advisor showed up with samples of both vinyl and wood options and walked me through the pros and cons of each. My old cedar fence was beautiful when it was new but after years of staining, repairing boards, and dealing with rotting sections I was tired of the maintenance honestly. We went with a vinyl fence that has a wood grain texture in a light tan color, looks way more real than I thought it would. It's been about three months now and I love that I don't have to think about it, no staining, no painting, just hose it down if it gets dirty. I was loyal to wood fences for years but I'm converted now
My mom and I have a Sunday tradition, we always get together to cook and spend the afternoon in the garden. Usually I go to her place but every now and then she comes to mine.Last month, we were talking about electricity and how to save energy. She mentioned that a skylight could help and since she already has one in her home, the idea didn’t sound crazy at all.The next day, I went on Angi to look for companies. The advisor from Expert was amazing, very observant and great at explaining things. He showed me several options and after choosing the skylight, he recommended adding a range hood with built-in lighting. He even showed me a video of how it worked.By the end of that day, I was so excited, today Sunday again, with everything finished, I invited my mom over to see it. She loved it, everything turned out perfect.
I had my countertop and vanity replaced, as well as my cabinets repainted and my bathroom ceiling resurfaced. This was the San Diego location. All in all they were affordable and Erick and George were very responsive. The quality of the work was good but attention to detail lacked somewhat (a few cabinet painting issues, removing faceplates before painting the walls). I would recommend Joey Builders San Diego location but be sure you’re very clear about what you want. Here are some before and after pics.
We absolutely love the bathroom renovation in our garage bedroom. Our experience with the Project Manager, David Alka, was so pleasant! Everything from the planning, design, financing the project, demolition, adding walls, electrical and plumbing work, down to the installation of new fixtures and finishes, adapting to last minute changes and more. They did a fantastic job. We will surely be contacting David with Joey Builders in Oregon/ Washington Office for future projects.
