We closed on our Hudson 55 model Bridgewater home built in the Sonders neighborhood in November of 2025. It has been 3 months post closing when I am writing this review. To start with we have had a great experience with Bridgewater and all the staff (Holly, Nate & Kyle). We feel we are lucky to have had Bridgewater as the builder. We have previously owned 3 different homes in 3 different cities over 30+ years, but this was our first new home build. Many of our friends told us how much of a headache building a new home would be and how painful the process would be; it wasn't a headache and it wasn't painful mainly due to Bridgewater. It did take some significant effort to understand and research all the options and focus on the decisions to be made, but that level of work was expected. We chose a lot of options, +2 ft to the back of the house, +4 ft to the front of the garage, +2 ft to the side of garage, finished our basement, and too many others to name. We were able to add some Tharp custom cabinets in our laundry room that turned out awesome. My suggestion is to ask others what options they chose and really like, what options they didn't choose and wish they had chosen. Read through the long options list many times, understand it, think about the things you can change later if needed vs. the ones that are more permanent. The work and decisions that need to be made in building a home are not easy but can be rewarding.I truly have a house I love, reach out if you a have question I can answer. Also I've read all the reviews and nothing is perfect, understood. It seems the years around the covid pandemic must have been a challenging time to build a house or have a house built.Erich & Susan
We really appreciated Bridgewater’s semi-custom options, the quality of the standard finishes, and the communication from our salesperson , Suzanne Wolfe. As with any new build, there are areas that need attention after closing. Bridgewater was responsive to most of our requests.Suzanne was knowledgeable about the available options, provided input on changes we may be interested in and followed up with the builder for clarification. Suzanne also emailed us every week to update us on the progress of our house and was very quick to answer any of our questions. The home was actually completed before the expected timeline. This is the third house we’ve built and was by far the best in quality, level of customization, and salesperson experience we’ve experienced.Would give 4 stars to the builder and 5 stars to Suzanne for her involvement in our home buying experience.
We moved into our home in late Winter of 2025 and continue to be impressed with the quality of our Bridgewater home. We are really enjoying the creative Hudson 55 floor plan.Suzanne Wolfe was our Sales Rep and was very helpful to us while navigating the entire process. She was very thorough in capturing our many upgrades and custom touches throughout the home.Having designed and supervised the construction of our previous custom home, we would have appreciated having access to the house during the construction process.Overall, we have a very positive opinion of Bridgewater Homes.Linda & Hector de Vega
We just made it through the planning stages and are getting ready to see construction start any day now. We are excited about this house, this neighborhood, and the lock-n-leave location! Holly was so great to work with and really helped us with all of the customization we wanted with the builder. Cody was a great help, too! We have heard nothing but great things about Bridgewater Homes and this has definitely been our experience so far!
Our experience with Bridgewater has been nothing short of fantastic. The design process was very smooth and easy. Our sales and point person, Caitlin, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The construction of the house, in my opinion, is excellent. I have built a number of houses so I pay special attention to concrete, subfloor, 2x6 wall construction, insulation, trim etc. I was very happy will all elements of the build. We have been in the house for about 5 months, we love the house and have had no issues. I highly recommend Bridgewater.
