A lot of people are angry and complaining, even though they didn’t qualify for a home in the first place. Starlight made their dream come true.Alex is super nice, and so is his entire team. Some people forget where they came from—many were living on the third floor of an apartment and are now lucky to be homeowners thanks to the over-the-top incentives they received.Instead of complaining about everything, be grateful. Call KB Homes and see if they give you the same deal. lol these are people like you and me give them a chance !
My worst experience in this community, they planted a tree next to the electrical box, and I have to remove it at my own expense. I contacted the office to have it resolved because that's how it was when I bought it, and they never returned my call and were very rude when it came to giving an answer over the phone. They said they would return the call soon, but they never call me back, I wish i never buy the house here on this community
I been at starlight a little over an ago already and I been contacting the builder for when they going to fix the rest of the house and I keep the turnaround my insulation in attic is low the made a hole in my island never came back to fix the back door doesn’t even latch I wouldn’t move here bad customer service
As a realtor I love bringing my buyers to Starlight. I usually start there, homes are affordable but I know they are a quality builder, We have done 3rd party inspections independent of the builders, and they have passed with flying colors. This gives me a lot of peace of mind that my clients are buying a quality home. The sales staff is awesome and everyone is very responsive and helpful
DO NOT BUY WITH THIS BUILDER!MOLD IN NEW BUILD HOMES!!I am a first time homebuyer. Within 7 months of living in my home MOLD was found. It’s now been 3 months and this issue is still not fully done being taken care of. Walls were ripped out , put back in crooked, fridge having to be placed in my living room, no washer dryer for months.. (There’s no laundry mat in maricopa, closest one is 30 min away) I’ve had multiple people come out and look at my home because it was extremely hot, come to find out my inspector found out my insulation is only 3 inches tall when supposedly we were given 9-12 inches. In this Arizona heat that is unacceptable especially with 2 young children and pets. I also just found out my entire tile needs to be replaced due to the poor work that was done, All the granite needs to be removed and replaced. There are multiple other issues in my home that will most likely never be addressed or take another 3 months to address. There are neighbors who have their house on the market due to similar issues. Starlight chooses the cheapest options when it comes to choosing what warranty trades come out to fix the issue. Customer service is terrible and chooses to not help anyone. I’ve been patient long enough all of this has been going on since April, I am not willing to give them anymore time. I will continue to make it heard and post more photos if thats what it takes for the builder to have any sense of urgency for this situation. Please make the smart choice and choose a different community/builder for your home. Unfortunately we are stuck here.
